I don’t know if anyone is local to Central London (unfortunately I am) but I’m just gonna talk about the Oxford Street changes. They are horrible. I’ve recently moved jobs and am now just of the river to Vauxhall, and commute using the 88. Usually this journey was done in 20-30 minutes, any time of the day. The fact this has happened 3 times within 2 weeks is strange. The Oxford Circus road changes has made absolute mayhem on Margaret Street with the closures in Mortimer Street and around the Square. Today, on the 88 we didn’t pass a single stop for 35 minutes between New Cavendish Street and Oxford Circus. The 88 infront which was 12 minutes before the one I was on was stuck at the traffic light for almost HOURS while oncoming traffic from the Square now just turn onto Margaret Street and the yellow box (where vehicles cannot be stationary) just meant the 88 never made it. I boarded in the Regent’s Park area / Euston Road at 11:50 and at 12:45 we were still inbetween New Cavendish Street and Oxford Street. There were seven 88s behind us and 5 453’s. If it takes 45 minutes to pass a single stop…. Really??? And ive seen a huge increase now of 453s turned to OXO and my local 88 just in hibernation, knowhere to be seen. What the f is going on?? It also seems to be hurt the 12 and 22 a good bit as they also turn on Margaret Street, but the 55/73 go down Mortimer and the 159 avoids it all going down St John Princes Street. In the long-run (after the works are done), the situation should hopefully improve with Oxford Circus reduced to 2 traffic light phases in a cycle. The current cycle is far too long (complicated by the need for an extremely long pedestrian phase due to the diagonal) which isn't fantastic especially considering the lane reductions on the junction approaches post-Covid.
It happening since two weeks ago fits into the works starting on July 15th ( link here for the details).
A diversion which could help in extreme cases like the above is forward New Cavendish Street at intersection with Portland Place, left Harley Street (which iirc buses can take on diversion so is passable), around Cavendish Square, Henriette Place, left Vere Street, left Oxford Street, right Regent Street at Oxford Circus. It's long but will certainly never take 45 minutes, at most probably around 10 (Google Maps gives it 7 at the moment vs 7 straight down Portland Place/Regent Street).
I was gonna report this exact diversion that many 453s seem to be doing today lol perhaps youve seen it aswell. It doesnt seem to be official though, looks like a quarter of 453s are diverting skipping Portland with the diversion you wrote down, and I did see LT288 abandoned at Great Portland Street too.

There is a 164 tile at the Downs Road / Belmont Station stop towards Sutton, not sure if this has been around for a while?

Transport UK 2456 on L3 Rail Replacement, and on diversion via Ponders End High Street. It feels unusual with that company in North-East London, although it is a nice new variety against Arriva‘s domination around Enfield.

First week of the summer and quieter buses and packed stations and stands. 4 SL2s at South Grove. 7 buses standing at St James Street (only 6 official spaces) and Rail Replacement buses in both directions came in together, so 9 in total at one point. Yesterday: 128 bus with 'Not fit for use - Do not take out' sign on windscreen in service. I think it was 10125 which is out again today so maybe issue was fixed. Driver/engineer probably forgot to move he notice on the 128 bus.

2x 175s curtailed earlier in the same timeframe 1x Romford, Parkside Avenue and another to Becontree Heath from Dagenham.

34 to Walthamstow, Crooked Billet x 2 444 to North Circular Road, Eleys Estate x 2 These are most likely due to a multi-vehicle RTC at A406 eastbound near Chingford Costco, with two lanes being closed there.

Temporary lights were put up on Sydenham Road today and no work was being done and they are now all removed…
