Fairly minor stuff, changing the final two stops after Hayes and Harlington station to serve new homes on Nestles Avenue rather than ASDA.
This might be quite a hot take but wouldn't this extension slightly mirror the 195? The 195 already runs within walking distance of the 350 extension and the Nestles Road terminus is virtually next to the 195's Roseville Road bus stop. The other two stops nearer to Hayes And Harlington are not too far from Fairey Corner which is served bu a lot of other routes. I'm not against the extension in any way if it were to go forward however I feel maybe a diversion via the 195 or E6 would help relieve the loads on both these routes. I agree it doesn't seem that useful, but I wonder if the extension might just be to create stand space at Hayes & Harlington for new route 495? That said, the 495 is proposed to be very short, and they could easily have just extended something like the 350 rather than creating a new route (depending on the frequency required / any vehicle size restrictions)?

I think I’ve mentioned this a few times on here before;
They should just reroute the U5 & 350 back to their original routings in Hayes, then extend the 350 through Hayes town, along Pump Lane and then into the Southall Waterside complex (or The Green Quarter as it’s now called) to terminate at Southall Broadway. You could even potentially extend it up to Ealing Hospital. Think that’d create some good new links.
As for the actual proposed rerouting, think it’d put out some of the elderly folk who use it to get to Asda. I also think that during peak hours, the right turn out of Nestles Ave onto Station Road could be a bit tricky!
But I only ever use the 350 nowadays to get from my house to work at T5 if my car is VOR, so any reroute in Hayes doesn’t really affect me. Long gone are the days when I’d ride it end to end purely cause Abellio had their excellent ALX400 Tridents running it!

I don't think the 495 has had a consultation yet, but it is in the tender programme with a result due soon.

Long gone are the days when I’d ride it end to end purely cause Abellio had their excellent ALX400 Tridents running it! Those good old days with the ALX400s and then the later E400Hs. Prime 350. Although, swapping the routes again would basically turn the U5 into a longer U4 again, I do like the concept of the 350 being extended by the proposed 495. Maybe the U7 could be use to basically mirror the 195 and have it terminate at Southall Town Hall. From Hayes, the route would no longer serve Hayes Sainsbury's and instead run via the 427 until Ossie Garvin Roundabout where it would join The Parkway up until Pump Lane where it then turns onto Seva Road, follows the 495 routing until Southall Station and then to Southall Broadway. This way, both routes 427 and 195 can have thier loads relieved with this new extended U7 and Southall Green Quater is still connected to Hayes and even further to Hillingdon Heath and Uxbridge EDIT: U7 would still technically serve Hayes Sainsbury's as it would still stop at The Grapes, which is about a 5 min walk from the Sainsbury's anyway.

Just looked at the consultation and it looks like the E5 would be cut back short by a few stops. I don't agree with the change as it basically forces those trying to access Toplocks to have to walk a long distance which could easily be done with the E5. Shortening it for the sake of the 495 having a stand is not the best idea.

If you see the Southall bus study or search "495 bus route" it would come up. content.tfl.gov.uk/southall-development-sites-bus-study-.pdf
