Because they are operating in an area where services aren't regulated. In essence this means basically they can do whatever the hell they like ;D ;D

Exactly WHY does Go North East have SO meany brandings and have cheap fares? Competition. Also the fact they are using the Trent Barton concept. Go North East is doing quite well, and to be honest as much as a gimic does make liveries interesting. I am sure photographers want to visit this part of the woods. Is this guy for real for going up, I look forward to the rest of this chaps collection across the country.

I quite like their brandings to be honest. And if their fares are indeed cheap, what is there to complain about?
They are indeed using the Trent Barton concept, and are taking it a bit further IMHO. Trent Barton buses still look like buses whereas Go North East ones look a bit... almost too futuristic.

Well with Trent's services they use decimal points on their routes. Interesting concept. I gather some are joint run. Example is the X38 Burton-Derby with Arriva (though Arriva bought a couple of their darts!) and a couple with Felix.
Go Ahead I am sure will brand many routes in the North East. And more low floor vehicles coming in.

Thanks for the correction. When I saw the operation I thought the Marshall Darts were Trent and the Dart was Arriva's! Have Trent put Tempos for this service?

I thought otherwise actually. Trent AFAIK don't have any Marshall Darts.
The route is now, IIRC, fully Tempos.

Arriva use a Marshall bodied SLF Dart (T61JJB?) and a Plaxton Pointer Dart (R929RAU). The other 2 buses used are the 2 Trent Optare Tempos. Stuart.

Go North East have taken on Stanley Buses as they focus on their other business interests. Gather some Solos have been shoved back in the pool after being de-licenced.
