How comes these trains have tip up seats when buses have been told not to use them because of health and safety?

I've managed to try out the new line for the first time (apart from the preview service) from West Croydon to Whitechapel today. It's a little slow up until New Cross Gate, however, because of an apparent line side fire at Norwood Junction. The air-con on my train wasn't even on for some strange reason and it was literally steaming in this 30 degree heat.

Overall even though the full service has just started, for a sunday trains where so frequent which was a nice thing, a great little metro. although i noted the departure boards and announcements didn't match but thats a minor. I Can't wait to explore the southen ext.

Did you notice the four 83ts tube cars on the roof of the building in Great Eastern Street as the line leaves Shoreditch High Street, crosses over the new bridge between Bishopsgate goods yard, and curves right to realign itself with the route of the Falston Junction-Broad Street line?

Rode the line between Dalston Junction and Crystal Palace today, i enjoyed it more than only going to New Cross Gate the last time. Plus the air conditioning is really good, it kept me cool in the baking heat

Faulty announcement system, comical at times www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct9COwWu69kThe funniest part to me was around 02:11 when some passengers got off the train and the announcement asks punters to stay on (by coincidence)....then it asks twice for their attention as if it doesn't want them to leave....then it goes on to request for a Doctor or nurse. Malfunction or Artificial Intelligence?? ;D
