ML’s SN12EHP doesn’t sound to healthy. It’s like can’t go to full. It sounds like it’s going to cut out lol 😂

Not clapped out as such but GAL E169 has an extreme about of black duck tape on the front drivers side and front bumper! Looks pretty shocking.

Catch of the day - Ee21 ex-212 on Selborne Road outside the Bus Station. Snapped this morning at 1130, although LVF suggests it's been offline since 2230 last night... can't upload photo for some reason so here's a link ibb.co/ZKWbgyr(If you can't open, it's got the front panel below the driver's window almost all missing. Haven't seen this on an Ee before)

Wonder if we could see conventional buses on the 357 as buses are still blinded for the route.

As hard as AD try, the SW’s seem to be some of the most unreliable buses Arriva have ever owned, I would prefer in the current climate for AD to receive 10 HV’s or even DW’s to replace them and sell off the SW’s since they arrived from GR I don’t recall all 10 of them being in service at the same time Put them on the 123, some thrash will clear out the cobwebs... AR can send over 10 HVs in a swap Low speeds such as on the 329 will clog the DPF, so the engine could be regenerating the exhaust to burn off excess soot. Arriva North West have just ordered more in Liverpool, and I was very surprised when Arriva Yorkshire, home of bus thrash, ordered the 4 cylinder OM934 for their routes. Now there's a 6 cylinder engine choice, can't the SW's be re engined? If you want to see knackered, come take a ride on Heritage Route 318 exhaust smoke, seized blank blinds, the lot Aside from a sole ex Enfield MMC, and cameo appearances from Wood Green ENN's, it's quite an experience 😀 They do get a bit of a thrash on the 102, one of the reasons they are now on the 102 more. The SW's can be re-engined, but the cost of doing that is not worth it. If it were re-factored in for a new 340 bid against a new contract, but that is never going to happen. The days of buses being re-engined etc in London are well and truly over. I cannot remember when last that happened with any operator, probably nearly 20 years ago.

Grab some class 43s headed for scrap and recover the MTUs out from them. Put it into a DW and watch it cover Wood Green to Ilford in 15 mins flat

I was working in Oxford today and they love their Streetdecks there, many are on Express routes! Perhaps the sedate A105 between Enfield and Turnpike Lane (apart from the incline by WN) isn't enough to stretch their legs? I guess re engined buses are too expensive for such a small batch. At least 102 passes the garage in case of breakdowns but they seem to be behaving themselves like the ENs on the 318 at the moment even saw SW1 out the other day
