That is so bad. Heard engineers talking about it as I was preparing my bus this morning.

Good grief - that's a pretty d*mning verdict against First Glasgow and their oversight of maintenance issues.

RATP should manage as I believe there are still a handful of DPS' floating about which can be used to cover. I remember the Scania recall well they sent out "YT11" to cover the buses which were sent of for inspection one by one.

Is the E400 also affected? Does it not have the same chassis/suspension as an E200?

Is the E400 also affected? Does it not have the same chassis/suspension as an E200? Clearly not or else the govt would have said so. I imagine the E400 suspension units differ because of the increased weight of a double deck body / passenger load.

I do find it surprising its taken 13 Years to realise this. A lot of the Enviro 200s on the 469 are dreadful and scrape the speed humps. All that from the years of Enviro 200s scraping the speed humps in Church Manorway. The MMCs have far better suspension the ENRs are great to drive its a shame the 469 didn’t get its own batch of longer MMCs.

Was probably well known before this, the Pot is probably just steaming up now.

Very interesting to note that not only all Enviro 200's & 300's are included but even the Transbus bodied Enviro 300's are included.

Although there has been a flurry of tender results taking us up to March 2020 hasn't been that many new bus orders
Just had few E200MMCs (RATP and Abellio) enter service along with few Stagecoach double decks
Got 2 classes of electric double decks soon for Metroline Some long Streetlites for GoAhead this month
Then it's a rather thin 7 months : Few tiny orders of E200MMCs Some Streetlites for GoAhead Some E400H ultracaps for GoAhead Some double decks for Arriva Various small batches of electric single decks A small number of others
All rather boring compared to few years ago when 7 months would have seen 500 new buses at about 20 per week
Is it just me or does anyone else not get excited looking at forthcoming list

With today’s streetlite max entering service approaching end of new diesel buses for TfL services, will soon be hybrid or zero emission
I think this is the remaining diesel buses on order
3 August route 232 streetlite WS131-148 17 August route 209 E200MMC SE293-302. 24 August route 497 E200MMC 37540-37541 7 September route 395 unknown (might be existing instead) ? October route 393 E200MMC (9.75m) 16 buses (probably 2681-2696) 9 November route 192 E200MMC (9m) 17 buses, fleet numbers unknown
