You can still order omidekkas as far as im aware, east lancs/darwen have always built to any order / spec which was one thing that made them stand out from other manufacturors, although i reckon omnicites are more likely.

Right, well i'm suspecting then that as they have also ordered Omnicities for the 106, that NS will be gaining a batch of these for the 248. Shame the forum pet isn't here, i'll be riding an Omnicity from my local garage before him ;D ;D ;D

I think Omnidekkas are still being built, just not the ones on the 64 and 127, most likely the ones on the 405

I sure I have seen the batch currently being built for NCT (the company not the board member) are to be the last Omnidekkas ever - maybe NCT can confirm alistair268.fotopic.net/p51159278.html

That is what I was thinking, as the olympus body is supposed to replace all previous double-deck bodies and the esteem to replace all previous single-deck bodies. Just like how ADL has the Enviro body to raplace the ALX, president and pointer bodies.

Notice gone up at work today states new single deckers for 184 are to be ADL Enviro200's. Stuart.

I hope they are not the last because I prefer the Omnidekka to the Olympus any day.

Hope this isn't too off-topic, but does anyone know when the new Wright Gemini / Integral model is coming out, rumour has it that First and Arriva will buy 5 each but I don't know if they are hybrid ones or conventional diesels. And whatever happened to Route62/35/Transdev?
