There's quiet a few places that don't sound right, I think it's here posh voice, other than the one you have mentioned I also find here pronunciation wrong, for instance the way she pronounces Plumstead and the Eardley Arms, she pronounces them as they are spelt (which is probably correct but is not the way everyone says them. Nothing, I've just got into the habit of using the bus stopping sign at the front and besides on an E you cannot see the dash sign when wearing sunglasses Also on Tridents and Darts, the rim of the steering wheel blocks some driver's view of the BUS STOP light, which i reckon should've been located where the Metrobuses and Titans had theirs. Thats excatly the same problem we have at Q, the steering wheel covers the complete "stopping" sign. But I look at the green Stopping sign at the front of the bus so i suppose it aint too bad. What are the over LC PVL's like in terms of the stopping sign on dash???

Indeed on a PVL or E there are plenty of seats that cannot see the iBus display's (besides the stopping sign at the front of the lower deck is what I look at to see if someone has rung the bell ) There is a solution to that without having the old bus stopping signs still in place. On Q PVLs, MW WVLs and A EVLs, when the bell is pressed, it says,"Bus stopping at next bus stop, please stand well clear of doors". SW's 02 reg PDLs have that audio accouncement as well. I remember PDL25 was once speeded up. ;D

I also find that some screens are brighter then others. Does anyone know where the dot matrix screen goes on Arriva Enviro 200's? There dosent seem to be room to be room on the back of the cab due to the CCTV screen. Also there dosen't seem to be room if it hangs from the celing like I've seen on some LC LDP's due to the cab door when open the top is only about half inch from the ceiling. The Travel London E200s have them on the back wall of the driver's cab.

The older W/X reg PVLs have a bigger BUS STOP dash light and should be easier to see as it's located more centrally on the dash. In any case, the saloon BUS STOPS light for downstairs is located near the entrance doors.

This also happened one time on the 50. The driver played the annoucment 'destination has changed' and then he turned it off. Maybe the curtailment for aldwych wasn't there. I assume you mean route 59? ;D LOL, I must be losing my mind I did mean the 50 as I haven't use the 59 for donkey years. Why I put aldwych I have no idea. I meant clapham south Thats one thing I missed about the PVLs is that the bus sign was located at the entrance doors. Theres been many times when I almost drove past the stops even though passengers has pressed the bell as sometimes the bell doesn't make a noise

Please post any comments or suggestions you have regarding Ibus here. Regarding the preset announcement messages, they should have one for the night drivers as follows; "PLEASE NOTE THAT ON NIGHT BUSES ALL STOPS ARE TREATED AS REQUEST STOPS" Also regarding routes like the G1, when a bus has completed a hail-and-ride section, the ibus should announce; "THE HAIL AND RIDE SECTION HAS NOW ENDED, THIS BUS WILL ONLY SET DOWN AND PICK UP PASSENGERS AT DESIGNATED BUS STOPS"

Agreed. If I was driving a night bus and someone complained at me I would simply play that message And the G1 is also needed. Maybe also a message stating when its a hail and ride section? You commenting on this actually reminds me of why I hate the G1. Passengers who press the bell in the hail and ride section of the route but not wanting to get off. You gets lots pressing the bell when driving along latchmere road but don't wish to get off until you get to sabine road near battersea. St george grove (the madhouse) is another as I get passengers pressing the bell for this stop when I leave garratt lane gonig onto aboyne road. Why press the bell if you don't want to get off there. They confuse me so much I yet to do the route since the ibus installation

Well the B12 does announce when the hail and ride starts and ends.
I agree about the night bus one, however I believe this is changing once the new stopping arrangements come into force and night routes will have the same stopping arrangements as day buses.

As LC1 has touched on the G1 should have the same annoucement as the B12 for hail and ride. Please post any comments or suggestions you have regarding Ibus here. I believe this announcement was added in a recent update, also (mentioned elsewhere i think) most if not all of the audiable announcements have been re-recorded and some removed altogether.

I thought it was supposed to be the other way round, ie all compulsory stops to be turned into request stops.
