Forgive me if this has already been covered but I've been wondering about this:
-> If you are going along a route and you have a run of driving past several stops, does iBus still announce the name of the stop or does it skip to the next one??
Thanks guys and girls

It announces every stop, the display changes quickly after leaving (or passing) a stop, to the name of next stop. Where the stops are fairly close will announce it about 25m after leaving previous one. Otherwise the announcement is about 300m before the next stop. On a fast moving bus passing closely spaced stops you can get the names announced almost continuously.
Closest stops I have come across is southbound on route 65 where Ham Parade is only about 60m before Ham Dukes Avenue (Ham Parade stop was resited few years ago when Richmond Council swapped it with some parking spaces there) but stupidly the next stop wasn't moved and is followed by a gap of nearly half a mile. Wondered if it is possible to truncate an announcement by passing the stop before it is fully pronounced, but hasn't happened yet.

Ah ok thanks. Can't see stops close together being a problem where I drive in Romford/Hornchurch with the only two stops close together near the bingo hall in Hornchurch Town Centre.
Interestingly, you say about the distance for stop announcements, yet when I have been on buses with iBus it has announced the stops as the bus pulls up.

I've noticed on the 152 that the Sadler's Close bus stop's now been changed to Mitcham Fair Green/Western Road. However, there's still no audio announcement for the new stop name. I assume it takes a good while for new recordings to be made, unlike the worded display which can be changed almost immediately. So far this stop has been voiceless for about two months now, which could give the visual impared the illusion that there's no stop between the previous stop (Lewis Road) and the next stop (Downs Road).

I see emma has learnt how to say Greenwich properly, as the new announcement "University of Greenwich/Mansion Site has it announced properly and not as "Grenich"

I see emma has learnt how to say Greenwich properly, as the new announcement "University of Greenwich/Mansion Site has it announced properly and not as "Grenich" OK, so what is the actual pronuciation then? I've been saying it wrong for more than 20 years!
