Bit of an admin query - how does one stop getting notifications from any threaded post? I keep getting notifications that other people are posting (although not necessarily replying to my posts) on a thread in the forum.... perhaps one for the Forum Admins? Thanks

I noticed the bus stopping my area have had the tiles for 639 and 670 removed and replaced by a tile that states School buses stop here. Has this happened to all School routes or just these ones?

Must be for the extra school bus drivers (for the V639/V670 maybe?) who aren't a TfL operator and might need a but of help. It's common in outside Greater London on London bus stops.

Mentioned it last week in Turns & Obs thread, think it's only these 2 routes. My local stop had them replaced with blanks instead of School buses stop here though

Noticed these in Waltham Forest today too, I would imagine they're being rolled out. Talking of this, the 123 has also had its tiles replaced with ones that don't bear the 24h logo on them.

I have noticed that aswell with the 123 and the tiles for the school routes have disappeared with a new tile wich says "school buses stop here" I reckon it’s to discourage the general public from using school services. Only the children from the school the route serves should use the bus and they’re likely to already know where the service stops.

Which standard routes have previously had school workings on a separate contract? Similar to 143D/184D/405D/etc but now withdrawn. I think there used to be a 150D?

There was a 370D run from DM with a TNL when the 370 became a TfL route in 2007 - before that at some point, Arriva Southend ran the school journey using a ex Arriva London South L

Others that I can remember from the past:
20, 34, 79, 112, 127, 132, 152, 156, 167, 212, 231, 232, 235, 302, 307, 370*, 371, 409*, H12, R2, R70, W13.
A few that had school journeys operated separately from the main service, but not sure if they were ever on separate contracts (I know some of these were subsequently included in the main contract, but may have been separate contracts in the past):
41, 92, 121, 163, 191, 200, 282, 313.
* - 370 and 409 were oddities in that the main service was commercial but with contracted school journeys. The 370 journeys were initially numbered 670 with Capital Citybus, but were renumbered 370 after Arriva won the contract. Of course 370 later became a TfL route.
