Do Citaro Ks automatically kneel when doors are opened? Yes, but only when the function is enabled. I believe there is a button on the dash that can turn on/off automatic kneeling when the doors are opened.

IIRC if one forgets to flick off the 'front and rear' kneel switch the bus goes up automatically when the handbrake is released and goes back down again whenever the handbrake is re engaged.

I cannot remember the B7TL's doing that. Could depend on the age of bus batches, general garage engineering setup, etc. For example Merton's 53 plate examples had kickdown enabled up until their withdrawals whereas Stockwell's 53 platers had theirs switched off in barely no time after entering service.

What routes other than the 26, 78, 133 & 333 use the Enviro City E400 whether Hybrid or full Electric?
The buses seem very similar to LTs from my point of view with the same seating interior.

Bus shelters being removed by Brixton Station. Hope they’re doing away with those extended pavements and return it to three lane traffic.

They need to stop faffing with those shelters - I certainly don’t think they’re removing the extended pavement though absolutely they should because all what’s happening is buses are sitting in a long queue trying to get to their stop.

I would be a bit baffled if all they are primarily doing is road resurfacing as it doesn't seem all that long ago since that section was last done.

The original arrangement worked and should never have been changed when Covid hit. Traffic is a nightmare at the moment.
