First 10.8m to do the 493, genuinely didn’t think they could because of the St George’s loop but there we go. Been done before by 10.8 SEs (was this complete route?) and by WSs more recently.

To convert the 80 to DD which in turns allows the SEs to move to the 413.

Does anyone know the reason why these transfers to A are happening? GoAhead no longer operate 639 and 670 Part of a big shuffle involving double decks to 80, new electric buses on 200 and freeing buses for 413 which is being taken over 3rd July

Do you know what buses will move to Waterside Way for route 690 The 690's new contract specifies hybrids, but not sure which will be available with the 80's DD conversion. Had expected the 639/670 loss to release a few hybrids, but it seems these will instead indirectly contribute to the 80's allocation - I think one EH has already moved from AF to Q, releasing a WHV. If Go Ahead are short on hybrids, perhaps a few older Es/WVLs spare could be used on the 93 or 154, with some of the WHVs already at A used on the 80? Is the 690 still expected to be run from PL? AL or SW might be more suitable to share DDs with other routes.

The two EH's at AF were released following the loss of the 639 & 670 which had 1 bus each. Unless some new information has popped up, the 690 is still to run from PL. PL have loaned buses from other garages before so if the 690 needed a decker on loan, likely one would come from AF or AL.

I agree that on paper the 80 will use some of the WHVs from the 93/154 and Sutton had for quite some put a couple of DDs out daily on the 80 so probably will need just 16 buses for the 80 and use the large pool of spares. In reality the 80 will see a mix of WHV/DOE/VE/E/WVLs daily as all the routes there tend to. With up to 22-23 hybrids I wonder if the N155 will come back to A.

I don’t think the ones from the 93 will be used as it shares a cross linked with the 155 which requires hybrids. I can see the three from the 154 used which leaves two to find from elsewhere.

If the N155 did return to A it should give them enough room for the 413 rather than AL.
