DW549 refurbished. That completes the 466 refurbs, as well as TC’s long list of refurbishments they’ve had since 2017

SE235 refurbished…interestingly with Metrobus logos as I’ve just seen a photo of it on route learning at Morden. Is the 470 going to Croydon I wonder or is it just a case of wrong logos being fitted?

Although Merton would be a good base for route 470. It might make more sense to operate it from Croydon because for two reasons - Croydon still a small amount of space to take on route 470. If I recall correctly, route 197 which was replaced has a PVR of 15 and route 264 came in with a PVR of 11. So they could fit in route 470 which currently has a PVR of 6. If it did operate from Croydon they could do driver changeovers at Morden like route 293 did when it operated from Croydon. EDIT: Scrap what I said, it will be operated from Merton lol.

C might also make sense in terms of fleet flexibility, as other shorter SDs will be available from the 434/463. Once the 470 gets rerouted, dual-door vehicles (such as those on the 152 at AL) will likely no longer fit. An alternative might have been to also move the G1 to AL for a common fleet (perhaps with the 44 going the other way), but may have been a more expensive option. But considering that the 470's Colliers Wood terminus is right next to Merton Garage, perhaps there might be an arrangement of drivers signing on at AL, but buses parked up at C?

SE239 refurbished. Don't think it's been done at Hants and Dorset Trim but it does look very smart indeed from a picture I've seen of it route learning the 470

TEH2076 back as an fresh tomato (Think this one actually omits painting the black back panel where blinds are in middle).
Lost count which of the 15 reg MMCs are now left to do as most of them are done now.

DW322 refurbished, was driving behind it this evening. Couldn’t take a proper look at it but I thought I saw it was logoless at the front through the mirror. It was out for a month between mid November and mid December so guessing it was done then. It looks like it was done in house.

It's almost kind of weird seeing some relatively young hybrids leaving London yet we still have some diesel double deckers twice the age being refurbished. lol
