Following on from a discussion a few days ago does anyone know how many of route 56 hybrids have been refurbished. I see from a post here that work has started on route 294 buses and the 56 renewed last year.

I see from a post here that work has started on route 294 buses and the 56 renewed last year. I don't know how many of the 56's hybrids have been refurbished but from my observations last weekend, not all of them are as some of them still have the unrefurbished interior. If you did mention about this batch from 5 or 6 years ago then I would have certainly known a lot more about the batch and what their status is, especially when T had the 179 where I would use those E400 Hybrids at least on a weekly basis and see them on a daily basis compared to once every few months nowadays to shows a lot can change in a space of few years even if the buses stayed on the same route/garage  |

When the ex-TT VHs now at BT finally get refurbished (although i know that may not be for a while yet), i wonder if they'll retain the black fronts at the top the way they are now, with the black going dpwn the sides of the front windows?

Nasty grey leather seating has reached NS 🤢 I travelled on one of the refurbished MMCs on the 86 yesterday (forget which one, but it's got a massive Stagecoach logo at the rear.) To be fair, the grey seating really brightens up the interior, and the seats were actually pretty comfortable. |
