Since BX has gone over to iBus i've noticed the radio signal is awful strangely NX and Q is clear as a bell (why do we keep getting there group calls?), which makes me think it could be a fault with BX Control system, although having said that Centrecomm is often unclear as well...and they reckon the radios would be clearer on iBus

I think we get some of the NX calls because they run PM's routes as well now and appraently on ibus any control workstation can initiate a whole range of calls, including, Route specific, Garage Specific or indeed the whole company.
As for the radio transmission side, have to agree the signal is awful, but once your past shooters Hill i find its a lot better, must be something to do with the arial placement on the mast up there, i know the band 3 used to play up a bit the the shooters hill mast usually got the blame.

Many weeks on and the signal is still awful. Either that or centrecom is the headquarters of the Norman Collier appreciation society. (If you're too young to know who he is: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=uGR3SSfRfFk )

While they are fixing Norman Collier, they could also take the crisp packet off the bloke who keeps scrunching it up close to the mic.

The radios are pretty poor. Therer was a call out for some diversion at kennington today. As I aproached there from ox circus I heard two calls but were unclear. I could make out from one of the calls that diversion was off.
I got there saw buses going through so carried on line of route. My leader was about to go and divert but he must have noticed the bus on the other side coming through. I then heard another call from the garage saying the road is opened. radios need sorting quickly.

Got my grubby mits on a iBus bus at work today and I'm pleased to report that I had only one Norman Collier call.
