It just occured to me that most of the buses at Sutton are about to be replaced in coming months, yet those same vehicles are being fitted with ibus.
This seems to suggest that the EVLs and LDPs will be staying within the Go Ahead London area.....or does the ibus still work outside Greater London?

You have to convert a full garage to iBus or the benefits are useless. No point having some buses on ibus and others not. You will then need controllers on the street and iBus controllers. iBus is supposed to reduce operational costs not increase them. Details of your leader would probably be wrong etc. All buses at a garage will be converted, no matter how old. The iBus equipment (the expensive bits) will be removed when they leave TfL work. Having said that - are the 02 reg Darts at BC being converted or are the E200's imminent?

For a week, the trams are suspended in the croydon area and repalcement buses are operating between ampere way and east croydon. Always use the tram to get to work but now have to travel on these buses and for the past two days I have PVL265 and another PVL, both from A but they don't have ibus. Hasn't ibus been installed on all buses in A or is there another reason why I travelling on these buses with no ibus

I think PVL265 was one of the iBus float which means it will probably be installed once Blue Triangle are completed. Having said that I know we had a bus at BX that missed it's slot to be iBussed (I presume that as it's now back in service it has been done)

Isn't PVL265 one of the commercial fleet, rather than the TfL fleet - Therefore, it is not in the iBus scope?

Are you saying they are not installed or not working? For a week, the trams are suspended in the croydon area and repalcement buses are operating between ampere way and east croydon.
