Not sure if this has happened before. Was surprised to get 6971 on the 200 this morning.

Are both 6622 & 6623 returning to the fleet? Last week saw 6622 around Crawley and 6623 was parked up at Crawley bus station yesterday.

6772 has had a gearbox change to ZF (could of been done sometime ago). Is this rolling out to all the SN12* & YX63* E200s?

I noticed on a trip to Brighton this morning that 6774 now has Brighton and Hove legal lettering. I assume that this change has been applied to the whole fleet as it was mentioned on the Southdown Enthusiasts Club website that Brighton and Hove formally took ownership of the Metrobus vehicles from 28th October.
I was more surprised to see a note in the window saying that the service (270 in this case) was being operated by Brighton and Hove on behalf of Metrobus. Does this apply to all Metrobus routes? Could it be because the routes are in the process of being registered to the Brighton and Hove licence?

Yes, the whole Metrobus Crawley operation has moved to B&H license as of about a month or so ago. Metrobus O-license not renewed. Not quite sure why the window notes are still there as believe B&H legal lettering as now been applied to whole fleet

I've noticed the past few days the 3 has been using other vehicles e.g. Streetlite, E200 compared to the usual dual door omnicity. Are they temporarily taken out for maintenance or is this long term. Only 1 or 2 seem to be coming out in service now.
Edit: I've notice 6554 & 6555 are no longer on the fleet list on bustimes.org I take it they've been withdrawn

Although the Metrobus fleet is under Brighton and Hove management the last two BBP Go Ahead Handbook editions have long merged the two fleets.

6321 is now withdrawn, in order to keep 6287 in service after its engine went as the MPDs are still needed, apparently permanent replacements for the MPDs are in the process of being found. In addition to 6554/5 being withdrawn as mentioned above, 6552 has also been withdrawn, removing all dual-door N94UBs in old Metrobus livery.

Has there been some work done on 6558, currently on it as I type this and had the bus redlining in each gear. Sounds awesome only Dual Door omnicity in the fleet I've heard redlining

Looks like the 6001-6003 are replacing 6552/54/55, they've been working the town services this week.
