Thanks for the update, what made me believe they were 10.9m is that 34 seats!!! in a 10.2m even if you added 1 or 2 seats ontop of the nearside front wheel arch to the normal E200 darts that would make 30/1 seats. Maybe it is something to do with the centre positioned exit door. I think despite the not so nice rear end they are better than normal E200s. So I guess if they were 10.9m then they would seat about 38....wow!!!

708 YX58 DXD has finally arrived at C, and surprisingly, the blind setup is the correct way round lol. Also, 956 YR58 SNZ has made it onto the 119. Looks really wierd seeing an Omnidekka being subbed for an Omnicity.

Nice to see you have your name back. I know, its just that I didn't fancy the name anymore, so I've gone back to the old name. I was even going to come up with an entirely new name, but I didn't want to be told off for constant name changing so I've now decided to keep it. New banner coming as well. ;D

Some Metrobus news... MPDs 274-277 have returned and are now in store at Crawley. These, plus 383, will return to Orpington by 13th January ready to re-enter service. There is already 1 'extra' Dart and 1 extra Omnidekka at Orpington. Additionally at Croydon there are currently 2 extra Omnidekkas (as nothing was transferred out when 955/956 arrived). These will move to Orpington by the 13th. When 706-708 enter service they will release 384-386 which will also be used for iBus cover. That makes 12 additional vehicles; Orpington's iBus program should start on 13th January but initially only 6 buses will be fitted each day. This will increase to 12 per day by the end of the month. Next week a few buses are due to swap between Croydon and Orpington. This will put the batch 482-491 at Orpington (the ones to be kept there long term) and 492-497 become iBus or 202 cover before their departure to Crawley. Regarding the Olympians, the Park & Ride Darts returned to Crawley on 1st January and most re-entered service yesterday. A total of 5 Olympians should be withdrawn over the course of the next week or so. Infact 844 is already parked up and is unlikely to be used again. So, as it stands, the last day of blue & yellow operation was 31st December 2008. P.S, is Fotopic working for anybody, or is it just me?

Regarding Fotopic, there are some problems with the service and everyones websites are not working. It may take a few more days before it is back up and running. I hope it is soon as I want to access my site and update it. Some Metrobus news... MPDs 274-277 have returned and are now in store at Crawley. Metrobus Marshalls 129 LN51 SBO, 130 LN51 SBU and 131 LN51 SBV have been transferred from MB to C to be used as iBus floats.
Also, double-decker Scania Omnicity 957 YP58 UFV has finally arried at C due for route 293 (school journeys).

MB has just started to be iBus'ed so would expect any iBus float to be at Orpington. 271-273 have gone the other way so seems to be a straight swap .... whether permanent or not I do not know! Should be not as the MAN E200's should be operating the T32 - not mini Darts 957 was reported in Hull yesterday morning, bearing in mind 955 & 956 spent over a week being prepared at Scania Lingfield I also have to doubt this. It is not listed on the Metrobus fleetlist dated 12th Jan and there is not any pics on metrobusltd.fotopic.net .. where pictures of new vehicles seem to appear almost instantly.

If you are talking about a post from aaron, I think Metrobus put up a duff fleetlist on their site at the weekend, which was quickly changed.
I do not think that 957 is here yet, someone queried this fact on the group if it is the Yahoo one ... but it should not be long ... it is definitely in the UK now.
He did also say possibly iBus float for the Darts --- which no one confirmed --- I would suggest this was a bit of a speculative guess on his part.
If this is a different Metrobus Group where these details were confirmed, then I am happy to stand corrected

Thanks for the correction.

Saw 707 YX58 DXC MAN/E200 on the 130 sitting at the Norwood Junction stand this morning. Trust me Arriva, these buses look one-thousand times better than what they look like in the photos. Hopefully if another makes it onto the 130 tommorow, I may sample one during my college lunch break and take a video. Believe it or not, I've never been on a MAN before.
