I must admit thought that whilst I enjoy watching these races, I do take them with a large pinch of salt. I can't remeber which race it was now (Think it was the one where they had to race to the NatWest Tower) that at one point James and Richard had to take a bus.
They were seen getting on a route 26 - operated by an MCW Metrobus. Now correct me if I am wrong but I don't think Metrobuses ever worked on this route - this means that....it was a set up all along!

Your right MCW Metrobus has never been on this route because as far as I can remember the 26 has always been a East London route and East London don't do MCW Metrobuses.

Sorry for late heads up, have just seen that there is a double deck bus race on 5th Gear, channel 5 at 8pm

Hmm another one? Hope that's not been on in the past 9 minutes... don't normally watch Fifth Gear either but am keeping a lookout now. Edit: missed the first bit but saw the second part with those drifting West Midlands Metros...
