Personally? What is that supposed to mean?
Believe it or not, people have already measured how quickly the Underground trains move.

IMO, the Victoria and Central lines are the fastest ATO lines. The non-ATO lines which I think are the fastest are the Jubilee, Waterloo & City, Piccadilly and Northern lines (all in random order).

I can tell you the slowest, the District Line!!! As for fastest, generally the Jubilee seems pretty quick

What is your personally fastest tube line on the London Underground? Hmmm.....depends what your definition of 'personally fastest' (?) is. Also, as already commented upon hasn't something similar to this also been done before, fairly recently?

Probably just seems like it as every topic normally as me moaning about the District Line ;D Fair enough, we all have our pet loves and hates, which makes specific threads of this type all the more pointless. Very little is going to persuade any of us to change, and franky, do you give a stuff what others think? Members will always find a way of expressing personal opinions as an aside in other threads, why not-but leave it there. The biggest, largest, longest, best, worst, fastest, slowest, favourite type of thread is just an excuse for people to post a lot of cr@p of which few others are interested in or are going to take ANY notice whatsover, except to become boringly arguementative. Lets see more INFORMATION posted, now THAT'S worth discussing! Opinions are like rear orifices, everyone has one. Information (gen) is a far more valuable commodity, and should be given the importance it deserves.

Instead of you worrying about Bighat, Olgalucia I'm getting more worried about you...
Not only have you just attacked (for want of a better word) a member but you've also chosen to use symbols to represent letters in your post, which I can only just make out but others will have difficulty reading. So consider your post deleted.
BTW in case anyone is confused this post is in reference to an earlier one Olgalucia made at 9:47pm, which I've now removed.

It also depends on whether your definition is based on actual line speeds or acceleration/deceleration rates..... The Metropolitan is the fastest, with a permitted line speed of 50mph north of Finchley Road (generically speaking). I suspect the Victoria may also have a line speed of 50mph, though I'm not road/stock trained on it so I can't be sure. I dunno about the Waterloo & City either, but most other lines have stretches were 45mph is the lines maximum permitted speed. On the District, which even as a driver I'm starting to think Bighat is right (! ;D ;D), the maximum line speed in the central "tunnel section" (Bromley-by-Bow to East Putney/Turnham Green) is 35mph and it's 45mph on the rest of the line. The ATO lines (currently Central & Victoria) will always be faster in terms of acceleration/deceleration as the on board computer will drive the train to limits a human would never dare go near.
