hopefully after tower gateway opens everything can get back to normal Once Tower Gateway re-opens, it's my understanding Bank will close for refurbishment work.

Now as far as i know, once Tower Gateway opens, the service from Beckton will continue past Canning Town. If Bank is shut, will that mean the Woolwich Arsenal service turning short at Canning Town like the Beckton service currently does?

i think there are 3 options: woolwich arsenal-poplar woolwich arsenal-blackwall woolwich arsenal-tower gateway
or even woolwich arsenal to lewisham

That's such a busy junction at times it's crazy. Blackwall i can imagine though. I saw one yesterday morning at Canning Town terminating at Blackwall, so it's possible. Tower Gateway i'd say is a no no too. Is Tower Gateway a 1 platform station? If it is, there's no way in hell that you're going to get both the W'Wich Arsenal and Beckton services into there. You're looking at a train every 2-3 minutes during the peak times

i was thinking with the tower gateway idea that the beckton an woolwich lines to be every 10 mins
so it would look a bit like this: 1 woolwich arsenal 2 beckton 5 mins 3 woolwich arsenal 10 mins
there is only one platform at tower gateway but there is a passing loop between the junction and the platforms
but it will probably be blackwall-woolwich arsenal

Well i know the Beckton line runs additional trains in the peak, so the frequency to Canning Town is every 5. Either way, if they thought this arrangement was possible, then they would have diverted the Beckton service to Bank rather than curtailing it at Canning Town. Again, it's because of this that i think the W'Wich Arsenal service will be cut to Canning Town, though i could easily be wrong
