Some of them definitely are and the high frequencies of others are also. I do wonder if TfL are legally obliged to provide these replacement services though I presume TFL are legally required to run replacement services if trains aren't running. What would the passenger do if there isn't? Along that stretch of line there isn't really much of a bus route that go direct to where they want to go TfL don't seem to provide Baker Street to Hammersmith replacement anymore and for most intermediate journeys at least one change of [normal] bus is required!

I remember seeing this I wonder if it's something to do with more local bus connections?

In some cases ticket acceptance on local bus services suffices. I don't think that route was especially well used and looking at it on a map, probably offered little time advantage over other local routes. Would have liked a chance to drive it though. Looks wonderfully complicated with lots of left and right turns and one way workings, fluctuating about the A40 like a sinusoidal wave!

Busy one this weekend - going to put in a request to take 9525 or 9526 down the M4 to Heathrow T5 for the PL1 Hammersmith to Heathrow night service. It'll be a pretty tame weekend compared to 15/16 February which is going to drain resources in the area - there's no way there's enough buses and drivers in the area to cover everything so could be a very colourful weekend bus wise with some visitors from further out, including for some of TfL's services BL1 - Queens Park - Harrow & Wealdstone (all stops) BL2 - Queens Park - Harrow & Wealdstone (fast Wembley - Harrow) LO-H - Harrow & Wealdstone - Watford No buses for Edmonton - Cheshunt - use the 279! DL1 - Acton Town - Shepherd's Bush DL2 - Acton Town - Hyde Park Corner nonstop DL3 - Richmond - Turnham Green / South Kensington (early morning/late evening only) DL4 - Wimbledon - Hammersmith DL5 - Wimbledon - Kensington Olympia DL9 - Putney Bridge - Hyde Park Corner TfL Rail - Stratford - Romford TfL Rail - Newbury Park - Shenfield Greater Anglia - Newbury Park - Ingatestone Southeastern - Lewisham to Dartford via Bexleyheath 9 day closure Southeastern - Lewisham to Hayes Southeastern - Bromley South/Chislehurst - Orpington/Sevenoaks Southern - Victoria - East Croydon/Streatham Hill with extras Victoria - Clapham Junction, London's highest PVR job Southern - Purley to Tattenham Corner There are even more buses required for short jobs like Finsbury Park to Gordon Hill and Finsbury Park to Potters Bar on Sunday. Wonder if there will be any V reg Tridents out

Between the 295 and the 23 it pretty much seems to be covered - and other options are available for shorter local journeys!

I hope to see something interesting on the Gordon Hill to Finsbury Park section! Is that for all day or just part of Sunday? That one is only on Sunday morning. Could be interesting as I imagine the Hertfordshire operators will also be busy with St Albans to Luton and Bedford on Sunday Few logistics to sort for BX line closure I'd guess the same operators that appeared on the erail service a few months back will appear. When there's lots of rail replacement running from Lewisham, the stands on Jerrard Street and Thurston Road become a bit of a freeforall - lots of competition for them which sometimes seem to be preferred to the off road stand for service buses which I've never seen full once in the last 3 years!

Will Uno be on the Luton service or the District Line or both?

To be honest I think the rail bus was used for short hops instead of a 23 or 295, if it came first, which more often than not it did!

Not quite, I meant some non-London stuff will appear on some of TfL's rail replacement routes.
