It's been spotted that Diamond Bus are operating on the Central Line rail replacement! Certainly far away!

It's been spotted that Diamond Bus are operating on the Central Line rail replacement! Certainly far away! Is it definitely Diamond or is it Hallmark who are using Diamond's buses at the moment I believe?

If he was talking about this Diamond Streetlite then that one was recently transferred to Hallmark Stanwell depot which yet to receive Hallmark decals.

Plenty of rail replacement happening on the GTR network this weekend, mainly due to the Victoria resignalling project getting started. Arriva have been helping out Go-Ahead on the East Croydon to Clapham Junction job. I think it will also be the same for next week too.

Last weekend saw a significant closure of the eastern end of the Central Line, with Metroline covering Stratford-Redbridge, Sullivan's covering Stratford-Loughton and Loughton-Epping, CT-Plus serving Loughton-Theydon Bois. And a collection of Non-London operators making up the Ilford to Woodford via Hainault service, including newly rebranded Diamond SE with 32321 amongst others, Ipswich Buses Citaros including 154, Trustybus (ex Tower Transit streetlites) like CC11 as well as vehicles from Uno, Go-Coach and Arriva London.

Last weekend saw a significant closure of the eastern end of the Central Line, with Metroline covering Stratford-Redbridge, Sullivan's covering Stratford-Loughton and Loughton-Epping, CT-Plus serving Loughton-Theydon Bois. And a collection of Non-London operators making up the Ilford to Woodford via Hainault service, including newly rebranded Diamond SE with 32321 amongst others, Ipswich Buses Citaros including 154, Trustybus (ex Tower Transit streetlites) like CC11 as well as vehicles from Uno, Go-Coach and Arriva London. It’s going to be very weird seeing Metroline buses in that side of London.

They aren't ex-diamond I believe but the Hallmark vehicles which are being put into the Diamond brand, merging the two together Yes, it has been reported in another thread that Hallmark is being rebranded as "Diamond Bus SE" and its buses will be repainted into the Diamond Bus two-tone blue livery. Some Wrightbus Streetlites ordered for delivery this year for the Heathrow Hoppa hotel services, which are operated by Hallmark, have been been diverted to Diamond Bus in the West Midlands.

I remember even back in the London Buses days around 1989/90 Metroline did rail replacements in the Central Line Bethnal Green to Woodford. At the time then I was surprised East London, London Forest or Leaside who was nearby was not doing the job.

Due to the suspension of the Metropolitan Line on Sunday 21st February. Replacement buses will operate:
Service ML1 (operated by Sullivan Buses): Wembley Park - Preston Road - Kenton (for London Overground) - Northwick Park (Hospital) - Harrow-on-the-Hill
Service ML2 (operated by Abellio London): Harrow-on-the-Hill - North Harrow - Pinner - Northwood Hills - Northwood - Rickmansworth (for Chiltern Railways connections) - Croxley - Watford
Service ML5 (operated by Sullivan Buses): Northwood - Moor Park
Service ML6 (operated by Arriva The Shires for Arriva London): Amersham - Chesham
