28 could be coming spare from the 148. With it possibly leaked about reductions on the 30, 43 and 113, Metroline could have a fair few buses on their hands How would 28 become spare from the 148?

With it possibly leaked about reductions on the 30, 43 and 113, Metroline could have a fair few buses on their hands Initial expectations from what we've heard so far about these changes: 7 - PVR reduced from 18 to 12 - 6 hydrogen buses spare. 13 - PVR reduced from 31 to 23 - 8 Evosetis spare, however this is up for tender as we speak so could well mean the entire allocation being surplus to Tower if lost. 27 - PVR reduced from 22 to 18 - 4 NRMs spare 30 - PVR reduced from 23 to 18 - 5 Evosetis spare 43 - PVR reduced from 32 to 25 - 8/9 E400EVs spare 45 - PVR increased from 13 to 20? - potentially utilising some E400Hs from the 49? 113 - PVR reduced from 28 to 21 - around 7 Evosetis spare 148 - potentially withdrawn, 28 or so LTs spare 521 - PVR reduced to either 18 or 14 - around 14/18 E200EV spare I daren't say many more changes are planned.

28 could be coming spare from the 148. With it possibly leaked about reductions on the 30, 43 and 113, Metroline could have a fair few buses on their hands if the 17 gains LTs from another company. Should be able to existing retain the 186 and 204. Thinking about this an while back, even if Metroline has quite an few spare buses via pvr/route cuts they have an good opportunity to replace their ageing fleet, esp their Enviro 400s and other diesel stuff without ordering new buses.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another two routes converted to LT. Full allocation on the 17 maybe and another route aswell.

Could I ask, is the above all speculation?

Essentially so - hence my wording "what we hear so far" obviously central & inner London network changes have been confirmed however the ones mentioned so far remain yet to be finalised - so that post is just a rough outline of what we could see
