When I followed the link to you tube it had aswell a video of an M on the 130. Yes, that ones a good watch, it's a Cummins one as well. Personally, I'm hoping he has a M on the 118 to feed my nostalgia 337 would be good aswell

Happened to notice VWH2035 working the 316 earlier, did it work the whole route? Has the issue with the residents been resolved?

When I was driving the 316, and given a decker, either we curtailed to North Kensington, or we swapped for a single decker heading towards W GR at Ladbroke Grove Sainsbury’s. Find it very annoying this situation. If having a DD allocation, could lower PVR and help the flow of customers/passengers in Kilburn.

Why did Metroline choose to cover the Gemini 3s in the Winter Lights Campaign because these buses mainly work n the 328 not the 139. I think they should have repainted the MMCs instead.

Usual apologies if this is in another thread, but I have just noticed the company announcement that Perivale West (PA) is to close at the end of next February. Again, sorry if this is old news. For PA to close now is a contrast to when PV closed for a few years. I prefer PA to close as it was inherited from FE Thorpe rather than being an indigenous Metroline base.

Not surprised about PA closing, probably the most logical garage to close given all the excess capacity in the area. It's relatively small, and very close to both G and PV which have space available. Though I would still question the need for the new Alperton garage, with PV being round the corner with excess space still, could easily keep the 83/483 there in the long term. Regarding reshuffles, I think this would be the best solution. 31 to KC - filling the space still available from the 214 (plus the 393 was previously rumoured to be moving there). Very close to the Camden Town terminus, and maintains a standardised VMH fleet with the 30/274. 90 to G - Not far from the line of route or the terminus at Northolt, has space available, and VMHs are already used on the 607/E9. 297 to PV - Very close to the line of route, and already has VWs. I think route 31 would be better back at HT (who had an allocation in 1987-89) with route 91 moving to HT, taking all HT VMHs and some VWHs with it. While route 297 is currently VW operated, it could require more modern buses upon retender next December.
