Ew I can’t imagine a a wood effect floor will look good on a very long in the tooth cobalt blue interior. The Metroline interior is well overdue an update now Couldn’t agree more. Awful blue colour with a wood flooring sounds awful same for Arriva London wooden flooring only suits UK Transport Abellio London Wooden flooring

The blue on their interior is far more jarring and clinical than the Arriva turquoise

Has there nothing even started with it then and the VMS running off a generator? Or have the chargers been installed and on the waiting list for the National Grid to wire it up? Three months back JUNIOR26 said the chargers at WJ had been installed months ago, so it sounds like the usual UKPN hold-up to me. For the record - "National Grid" usually means the 275/400kV transmission network, which only passes it on to DNOs (usually at 132kV) or Network Rail for the 25kV railway. Distribution grid capacity limitations are sometimes (not always) the result of National Grid capacity limitations, depending on where you are. Ah I missed his post. That is good to know and indeed there are a decent amount of EO charging points outside the garage, had passed the area today. I guess just UKPN side to sort out. 👍

what route did the inital batch of VMHs for the 31 get diverted to? If I remember when Metroline first gain the 31 it was temporarily using VWs because the VMHs intended for it where diverted to another route what was that route was it the 43 or the 113? I know there was some sort of busical chairs with the VMHs for the 31, 113, 317 and 607 I just can't remember how it went.

So could Metroline ever return HZ back to operational garage? Yes it could. Would mean they would have to find an alternative site for the Westbus fleet. Also I believe some of the withdrawn buses are stored there as well.

I need to give WJ a huge shoutout for the way they maintain their buses. I've been getting on the 28 more frequently and I have seen it improve a bit. Of course they still do have their turns from time to time but the service has been very decent so far.

Route 282 has been retained for 3 years using existing hybrid vehicles. Most likely the existing LK13 TEHs.
