Some of you have expressed doubts as to where route 224 could be reallocated if RATP were to otherwise want to close RP.
I think it could go to BT if route 125 is lost. It would not have much if any more dead mileage than route 226 if it does move there.

It would not have much if any more dead mileage than route 226 if it does move there. Can’t see how they can reliably operate the 224 from BT. The issue isn’t the dead mileage but how they can get drivers to the changeover points. At least with the 226 they have the Northern Line for Golders Green. There’s no quick and easy way to get from BT to any point on the 224 unless driver takes the 79 the whole way to Alperton. The quickest way I can think of is: BT- bus to Canons Park- Jubilee to Wembley Park- bus to Alperton. If it had leave RP, I think X, S or V are better options.

I've been using the H91 a few times recently during the past few weeks and all I have to say is wow, what an improvement under Metroline Brentford. Now don't get me wrong, the service isn't perfect but it is a huge step up from the tragic operation at RATP Hounslow Heath and formerly Stamford Brook. I guess the Chiswick High Road was yet another excuse to cover for the awful RATP operation.
On a side note, these LTs are among the best I've used.

I agree with you on the whole,I really like the LT1**/6**/7**s on the route (notable example is LT746) but on Saturday,the service fell to pieces.Only 3 buses were heading to Hounslow West,with a whopping gap of 35 mins between buses,and 3 coming in the space of 8 minutes. Though AH do run a very good service on the H91,and I hope it continues.Now I'm just waiting to see a conventional on 9/N9 😁* *(I have seen a picture on Flickr of a VWH blinded for both routes,so the latest blindset should have the 9/N9)

It seems VWHs are put onto the H91 to allow an LT onto the 9.

Is AH wired up for electrics? If I was to guess, I'd say yes given the E2 & E8 have electrics on order so to me, would make perfect sense to fit chargers and wire them up whilst rebuilding the garage but here in the UK, logic doesn't always go hand in hand.

went up Brentford took quick peak new Brentford AH garage on Sunday there was LT parked forecourt blinded 9 old site there was few buses parked up. Great improvement
