As I understand it new vehicles on the 232 from August and the new contract. Thanks for that Beaver So my beloved 251 is losing those MMs and Darts are returning for the meantime That's a shame. Normally this sort of thing wouldn't matter as long as a bus turns up that will get you from A to B, but if you see the state of some of these Darts you have to wonder how they manage to make it to their destination ;D Beaver do you happen to know if whatever new vehicles on order will be put on the 232 in August (as initially planned) or will they go onto the 251 instead, leaving the 232 with MMs? Was just a bit confused with a bit of your post (perhaps I read it wrong) - cheers Cheers

Just as an aside, I hear from LOTS that there is a consultation going on with TfL regarding a diversion of route 186 through Grahame Park from this forthcoming September, and with that will come the introduction of the FULL service to Brent Cross instead of half the service running there as now

has anyone noticed the stagecoach moquet driving seats on Metroline's 56 reg Enviro 400s based at Edgware Garage I'm unaware of such seats being fitted and why would all of that batch of TEs have Stagecoach moquette on the driving seats? Wouldn't it be just the odd one? Which reminds me - one of the TALs at Cricklewood has a purple First cushion on the (now locked) tip-up seat ;D

i think it was TE919 im not sure if all 56 reg TEs have them, but i found it odd, and i did happen to see a pic of and Enviro 200 at Falkirk Plant with the stagecoach moquette driving seat but it did have the blue dashboard like metroline so i wondered if it was for Metroline.

You sure about that? TE919 is '58 reg - you must mean TE719? I'd think it's more likely that the one on TE719 was fitted by mistake - can't see why all TEs in that batch would have driving seats with the Stagecoach moquette Re: that E200 - Stagecoach London had their earliest ones ordered for route 273 (though they arrived under ELBG ownership). These have the blue Stagecoach moquette fitted throughout, and also have blue dashboards, although the actual part with the driving controls etc comes in black on ALL E200s. Perhaps it was this that you saw?

I believe the E200s in that pic are some of those delivered last year for the 326 and E6.

Either way they made appearances on the 140, 182 and H12 regardless. It makes sense from an engineering point of view as both Harrow Weald's own VPs and the VPLs are Volvos. It's better than introducing a second chassis (Trident) into the garage and engineers having to train on those.

there was a route called the 716 that metroline used to run, untill about August 2008 and VPLs were required for that, I would love to see an Enviro at Harrow Weald Garage that would be cool and one has been there before and i dont know if my eyes were devieving me but i though i saw one on the 140 in south harrow, please kick me in the bum if im wrong lol

Metroline are shuffling buses like crazy now, the S Reg Darts at Willesden will soon be replaced by slightly newer buses displaced from the 117, now that the Evolutions have arrived at Brentford, the TPs will recieve a repaint this summer and throughout, VP 319 will be the latest vehicle at Harrow Weald to be repainted, the TPLs from the 205 will be sent to Cricklewood although that is still under discussion and SEL 803 - 809 will remain at Perivale for the 460. I will post more news on my website.

If that's true (regarding the S-reg Darts) then about bleedin' time they should have gone ages ago; IMO they are in such a bad state (mechanically and cosmetically) not even a decent refurb would save them. Also my apologies Jamaal I never saw your post here from last week - it was probably your eyes decieving you as no E400 has ever been at HD.
