But TEHs from EW were intended for the 271 the VWHs / VMHs are only on the 271 temporarily until all the TEHs from EW has transferred to HT. Well that was the plan the plan could now have been changed. The TEHs on the 271 were a later plan, after potential length restrictions with B5LHs. After 14/15reg VWHs transferred to HT for the 4 and 17, further 15reg continued to transfer to HT. These were earmarked for the 271 pending the Highgate stand issues being fixed, but it now seems there is no problem with VWHs using the stand. From what I’ve heard the TEHs are going on the 271 because the VMHs / VWHs aren’t officially allowed on 271. The VMHs/ VWHs are just on the 271 temporarily until all the TEHs from EW have arrived..

Been 10 years old doesn’t stop buses from being retained for another 5 to 7 years again. And the 60 reg TEHs are Hybrids. Well where else can they go? Nobody what Metroline will plan to do at this moment of time There are like loads of routes that the TEHs can go.

Metroline West have been suffering with quite a lot of route losses with most of them routes being lost to Abellio but they have gained the H13, Metroline Travel haven't done so bad although this year they've lost 24, 34, 209, 232, 266 and 395 and have gained the 81
METROLINE WEST GARAGES:
ON- Have lost routes 223 and 224 but the 204 replaced those two routes but seems to be doing ok
G- Have lost the 207 and all the other routes they had to Abellio and they could snatch again the 282 and 482 which are due for announcement soon, apart from the E3 and E10 which was lost to Arriva and London United, they've managed to move the 607 in to replace the 207
UX- Haven't done so bad altough they lost the N207 and the 607 moving out but they've gained the H13, they could win back the 427 although it was operated from HZ before and potentially the 285 from UE which isn't far from Heathrow or SG but Abellio will try to snatch the 285 along with the 331 and with them having spare buses from the 407 this could give Abellio a chance of wining the 331, UX have been doing quite poor with the 114 lately with buses always arriving late but they have time to improve that
WJ- This is the worse one of all, they lost their biggest route the 18, gained the 31 but couldn't fit the route in due to land being required by network rail I believe, they've lost the 228 and now have 4 routes remaining with the 187, 226 and 295 all up for tender this year, I could see a possible retain for the 187 although RATP and Tower Transit would be bidding, I can see a retain for the 226 but with RATP and Abellio bidding, and I don't see the 295 being lost Metroline have done well with the route better than it was with Tower Transit and I hope it gets a 2 year extension

Well where else can they go? Nobody what Metroline will plan to do at this moment of time There are like loads of routes that the TEHs can go. I think the 13reg TEHs could stay at W and replace all other non-LT DDs, except for the 15reg TEHs. The 210 needs 15-16, and a further 5-6 are needed for the 632/643. There's 21 61/13reg TEHs at W, so this adds up well. The 08/58reg TEHs and older TEs could then be withdrawn, with the 60reg TEs transferred to other garages to replace older TEs. The 60reg TEHs at HT (if not eventually kept there for the 271) could perhaps return to W, either used for the 240 instead of VWs, or used for the 107 to cascade the 59reg TEs elsewhere. In either case, the 606 could also gain TEHs.

Not quite sure why that happened cause W lost it last time and they must have bidded out of WJ cause it was cheaper, only to send it back to W to lose it again

But isn't HZ permanently closed although they just store old Metroline vehicles there now No. It just currently used to store buses. TP446 says that it’s not out of the question to restore it to normal garage. PV was used to store buses and now is a operation garage again.

Besides I'd rather RATP didn't pinch another route.
