Could VMHs be moving to AH? Saw VMH2546 leaving SG today with AH codes. Not sure why it’s there, but a thought could be to scrap the VWs on the E2 and E8. VWH 67 buses on AH routes few on 237.

VWH2270: The a tiny screen attached behind the front right seats that lights up saying “Hold the Handrail” when you go up the stairs, and another attatched to the CCTV screen for going downstairs. I’ve never seen this before

This does seem likely. What may happen though is that a few hybrids move from London to Manchester to replace the earlier hybrids (basically ex Stagecoach) temporarily, up to 3 years or so. Metroline could send them to Liverpool if they win contracts for the Liverpool Bus Franchising That's another possibility if they win in the area.

I’ve never seen this before I think it's new Ibus screen some buses have them like Stagecoach London E400ev and Arriva London refurbished buses

I’ve never seen this before I believe some Ee's on the 35 now have this fitted too. Whether they're the ones intended for the 280 or native Q buses, I'm uncertain.

It's sound advice, useful as a reminder before embarking on a journey involving stairs. I would like to see more reminders about carefully positioning one foot above the other going up, and below the other going down, to avoid mistakes and potentially catastrophic tripping or falling incidents. Also I have on occasion almost sat on the floor while not checking the exact whereabouts of the seat, so a reminder to be aware of seat and floor positioning at all times would be of inestimable value.

With the SL2 also moving to AR to remove live changeovers, will this effect any other SL routes too? Does the SL1 need to move changeovers away from Palmers Green for example? It does make sense as changeovers potentially slow down what is an express service - but considering the length of some SL routes, there can be an advantage of running from a garage mid-route rather than near one of the termini. The SL1 changeover point is a couple of minutes' walk from the operating garage (AD), so drivers are not going to be delayed getting to and from the changeover point. Whereas with the SL2 at DX drivers have to be ferried to and from Ilford and can encounter traffic delays getting there, especially when the A13 is FUBAR. I mean, the same goes for the SL8 as of right now. G is placed very nicely right in the middle of the route and (with the addition of the Iron Bridge stop) it only takes 5 mins for drivers to go to the garage directly using the 92/282. Seeing as G and UX are both set to be put on the grid by 2027, is there really any point to moving the SL8 into UX especially as space isn't exactly free there?

Without getting too nerdy, half way along the route isn’t the optimal location for schedule efficiency. A third of the way along is the ideal.

does anyone know why wiring up AH wasn't a part of its refurbishment? Ongoing distribution (SSEN) grid capacity issues within LB Ealing, Hillingdon, & Hounslow - of enough concern to merit their own page on the GLA website - are the primary reason.
