I hope this is the right of the forum. A friend in New Zealand has asked me to find anywhere on the internet any site that has pictures of both air side and land side buses that I can send him. He is blind and very badly disabled. I hope someone can help. Thanks

I mean no offence here in anyway, but how will he see them if he's blind?
As for the request itself, I cannot help - but I do remember driving RMA5 and RMA8 when we had them at Upton Park garage; they were the only RM's in the garage with semi automatic gearboxes (ie, not fully automatic like all the other RM's).

Are you asking about the LT buses between the Kensington air terminal? These are documented on Ian's Bus Stop. The RMAs get mentioned in detail in most books about the RMs. For airside buses (ie. terminal to plane), I have no idea!

What is wanted are buses/coaches that were used between Heathrow and Victoria and the West London Air Terminal, and the coaches that were used airside like the Articulated vehicles that ferried passengers out to the aircraft. I have found a picture of a BOAC double deck in the current Buses Mag.

freespace.virgin.net/ian.smith/Is a very comprehensive site - it has details on the BEA one and a half deckers as well as the RMs. The 1980s LT bus links are also covered in the Metrobus section. Hope this helps.
