Yes, I think they should be moving to AL at some point for the 280. The deployment of new buses on the 171/172/188 etc should finally dislodge those over to AL. I would imagine now the day the 493 is lost is the most likely time the 280 will move to AL and the Ee'S start to take over. Thats a long wait until March to convert the 280 when it’s already one year into its new contract.

I get that things get in the way (and obviously I do quite like the WHVs) but i still think it's a little unacceptable that it still doesn't have its intended buses. It's quite a stretch to call the ex 151 City's now 'nearly new'.

Although I do wonder if they could switch it out to GM in place of the 280 until the contract is up.

I guess maybe push the 280 down the list again until LM was operational which we know has pretty much stalled now.

Does it matter though?? It seems that the only reason they’re being used now is to get rid of the Es, and their presence was the result of the 200’s Mes having issues, hence putting them on the 200. Then WVNs off the 131 should go on them. There are some Ee on the 131. Change of plans?

I travelled on DEL21 on the 200 today and was impressed.
The Navaho internal displays have not been programmed for the route. They are in default mode which means there are no Bus stopping displays.
The large display for the wheelchair position is set in the ceiling above the bay - far from ideal.

First (FW) might have been the second bidder Maybe, but in the absence of evidence it’s only reasonable to assume it was the incumbent that placed the other bid.

The bids would've gone in before the planning permission for LM was refused, so maybe they bid on the basis of LM opening and would've ended up having to decline the route if they were the lowest bidder.

I was working near Wimbledon area and rolehampon Richmond saw few SEes on 493 any idea why Just strays from AL. Same thing the other way, the 493’s SEs go on the 152/163/164/219/413, usually at night. There were a bunch spare SEs too with SE49-53 and SE115-117 + 12regs but for some reason a bunch of the 60regs haven’t been out for a few days, that or they’re not tracking
