Interesting half-and-half split of B9s and Electrics on the 357 at the moment! 357 is likely to see more Ees from Saturday as it reverts to front door boarding so can use any spares as such. Hopefully the last three Ees will enter service soon. Currently it only sees Ee42-5. Should intermix as well since all Ee routes will be front door boarding.

Is there any reason that the ENs at MB only really seem to work only the 353 and 654 with odd appearances on the 126. Is there anything stopping them going on the 320? I’m guessing they’re not blinded for the 208. The 320 serves a Low Emission Bus Zone in Catford, which prevents non-Euro6 buses from being used on the route. I assume the ENs have not been upgraded yet.

Waterloo has a modest service increase from Monday 6 July, the 507 goes up to a PVR of 11 an increase of 6, and the 521 goes up to a PVR of 14, an increase of 4. SEe2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 16, 17 and 21 are due to be the buses returned to service from store, we await confirmation of another one or two as spares. When full electric buses are stored for long periods of time, do they have to have the batteries kept charged whilst in store to keep them maintained/stop them going flat, or do they have to have extra preparations before going back into service to prevent battery drain? The main isolator is switched to the on position to avoid any drain on the batteries, all the SEe buses have had their Rota as normal, and all are started up for about an hour once a week to ensure all is well. MOTs restart next week with SEe15 first to go in.

Seems the final days of WVLs allocated to route 357 have arrived with the 357 being all Ee apart from 1 WVL now that the 357 has reverted to front door boarding.

I guess they will head to the 127 now ready for when it's back up yo full PVR. If the ex-357 WVNs/WVLs do move to C, perhaps these could on-paper be allocated to the 403 instead (same PVR), with the 127's allocation being fully 61reg Es.

It doesn't really make a difference - the 51 operates perfectly fine with a split EN & WVL allocation so I don't see why you would need to suddenly alter what the 403 is using. Currently, the 127 already operates a mixed allocation so it's clearly not an issue.

We were told on Friday lunchtime that all SEe buses could return to service from store today except the 10 that haven’t had their cabs sealed. Those 10 are: SEe2, 3, 7, 19, 25, 26, 28, 37, 39 and one other that I can’t remember. So a fair few out this morning that haven’t worked since late March/early April.

Unless the range is massively extended then certainly not as daily mileage for a 358 duty is way above what a SEe can manage. I personally am holding out for Hydrogen buses since they're perfect for that route.

Or better still the 358 just retains the current 5 year old buses with 2 or 3 new SDs purchased.

E51 has been withdrawn following a small engine fire whilst on route 51 on Sunday.
