Has an order for Ee's been made official for the route? Also there still seems to be no sign of the order for the 358 Lets remember that an Optare Metrodecker went to AL recently. So it's possible that those maybe ordered for the route. Delivered by 2030 if GAL are lucky

I wonder what the buses will be that convert the 200 to DD before its own buses arrive. Any older Es from the 127 probably. I would love it if E38 and E39 were utilised, no matter how short a time

It could be MetroDeckers although personally I think that unlikely for the 200 - it's more likely that Go-Ahead could be considering dual-sourcing if they make a successful all-electric bid for the Sutton routes. A remote chance that Stockwell could also be considered for them if they win any of the pending Clapham Junction area routes

I think the implication in LOTS was that the 200 would be converted to d/d as soon as possible, even if only partially at first, and existing spare d/d would be used until the Ees were delivered. Has an order for Ee's been made official for the route? Also there still seems to be no sign of the order for the 358 HSBC announced a leasing order for electric double decks for Go-Ahead taking total to over 100 and used photo of Ee in announcement, so presumably the 200 batch is part of this.

Not sure how official those face masks. It is from the official Go-Ahead account, and they probably do own the rights to that moquette, and probably gave permission for them to use it. It is a shame they don't have Abellio's moquette, but I do like the Crossrail Class 345 one.

The masks are made by "Masquettes" and GAL are just promoting the one in their style

Amusingly, part of yesterday's Dempsey & Makepeace on ITV4 (The Hit) was filmed in Morden Wharf Road. It's followed by a fairly typical shoot out in a warehouse - whether this was part of MW too I'm not sure but it certainly looked like it.

I have realised the reason why there were EHs on 202 two days at a row, this is because the drivers that are heading to Norwood needs to be fully type-trained so that they’ll not have any issues with the Enviro400H MMCs but when will C start putting EHs on 405 for the time being?

Seems a bit unlikely, why would Go Ahead be doing type training for Arriva? Has it been confirmed whether drivers will move to Arriva?

Same thing happened with 197 and yes it’s because that GAL has Enviro400H MMCs which also has SmartVision and Arriva already ordered those types but due to delays happening it makes sense to do that.

This was a while ago, but when the 31 was still at Tower Transit, there would be Metroline driver log in cards inside the cabs, and I assumed it was driver training for the 31 takeover. It was really odd, as they basically used the same vehicle type, but yeah. I do recall one of the 31’s VNW’s which are now withdrawn had very old blinds as it had the 7 and 27 on the back blind.

Just because it happened with the 197 doesn’t mean it will happen with the 202. I suspect the reason why EH’s were on the 202 was for an entirely different reason and that driver training would commence when the MMC’s are delivered for Arriva.
