Are Henley Road and Silvertown garages close to each other? There's this wonderful tool called Google Maps if you've never heard of it

How standards have fallen, at one time a publicity or media photo would have been properly staged, now they are happy to use a photo with someone who can’t even tuck his shirt in I suppose it is a reflection of the official standards of presentation that Go Ahead have now stooped to. maybe if companies paid their drivers a little more and treated them a bit better they would tuck their shirts in The department I work in they made it clear from the start that they want us wearing the uniform properly, regardless of what goes on with anyone else. And why not - we’re paid to.

What’s RP’s TVR or what is total amount of buses RP can hold? There is a planning permission restriction of maximum 150 buses It is a numeric restriction, not physical size, so could be 9m buses or 18m artics in theory RP is not a GoAhead garage, it was a temporary site for Crossrail when they needed part of Westbourne Park, it now has an extra 10 year temporary use (150 buses max) and is being leased to RATP

Nothing wrong with the 150 batch of buses. Splendid - looking forward to chasing them about all over Becontree etc. with a camera next week ....................... last batch of AL T's I need to track down. Resurrecting this month old debate that was in the GAL thread although about AL buses - having tracked down most of the 150/368 batch recently - T191's front number is "innovative" "Pass me that 7 and a Stanley knife, Mate" Attachment Deleted

Because there are number vinyls in the stores which includes '1'

Between you, that photo has appeared 7 times so far. An unprofessionalism I experienced on April 24th was a bus driver get off his bus with a lit cigarette in his mouth. I was 50-50 about whether to ride that route, but he helped me decide not to use that route. I did later use 2 other buses by that operator, Vision Bus of Bolton. One was in a sense inevitable, and the other was an ex-GA WVL. lol, seriously??? I am not a smoker but because I see someone do that driving a bus, would not put me off. If it were at a restaurant/cafe and someone was doing that at the time of serving me food then that is a different subject. Reminds me of a chicken and chips shop a few years ago a woman that was sweeping up the floor, then put the stuff in a black bag which she then put into the bin, then proceeded to go and take chicken out from the counter (WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS) i was shocked in belief and just walked straight out.

Even if they were treated better, or paid higher it would still churn out people who could not be bothered about presentation. It is all down to company standards. If you have train drivers who turn up scruffy at times who are paid far higher, it makes no difference.

Has the fleetcode for route S1 Metrocitie's been confirmed. My guess SMN based on: S (for single decker, relationship E and SE) M (Metrocity) N (Bus was never at GAL before and came not new to GAL).
