Seems WVL204 isn’t quite done yet, currently being used for meal relief in Morden. Who knows for how long…

Do you think the Spare MHV's from the 63 could replace the Doe's at Sutton or send 10 to putney to fully convert the 22 to MHV's and send the WHV's from that to the 131 to replace 10 of the WVN's

A likely initial home will be the Northern line replacement service. As for the DOEs, iv said it before that I still can't call the outcome yet. 1. One part of me says the 80 will remain hybrid and if so another route or two (151/154) may aswell remain hybrid with the WHVs off the 93 and the MHVs. 2. On the other hand A would be the perfect garage to full electrify with all the routes up for tender within a year and a large order introduced over a 6 month period. In that scenario I could see the WHVs off the 80 and part 93/154 going to the 118 and maybe ousting the 13 reg EHs off the 88.

Why would there be need to oust the 13 reg EH's before the end of contract they are ULEZ compatible and are literally what the route was contracted with so I don't see need to oust them. I suspect they will oust diesels in GAL fleet.

The 155 if retained is likely to be hybrids, the 118 same with buses from Sutton/MHVs and the 11 and 87 LT for another term. In which case makes sense for SW to remain all hybrid for the rest of the decade which fits with TFLs new aspiration to potentially convert an entire garage at a time. Sutton being the best chance of doing an entire garage in one go. SW harder to do with LTs there still for a few years.

Personally I think the conversion of Sutton to all electric will depend on the overhead charging trial on the 132. Sutton is a small garage and I think it would require overhead charging to fit the buses in even with some out on the 93/213 nightly. Don’t forget the 213 is not part of the Sutton tranche so would still use either diesels or hybrids for another year.

In which case Go Ahead may dodge a bullet for now and the choose for 2 or 3 routes to be hybrid (80/151/154) with just the 93 and then a few months later the 213 awarded with new electric. Realistically its probably close to next year that the 132 will be up and running with according LOTS reporting that FW and SO are still not upgraded and BN about to start.
The fact that the LU garages still aren't done does show why TFL probably are keener now to do an entire garage rather then one route here, two routes there etc.

The 213 would be lost to FW.

OK, then all routes but the 213 electric and then the 213 is just converted a year later.

I think that, given the 132 trial is successful, 213 will become a full electric garage by 2023 with the 2022 tranche routes converting with the 213 a year later.

Most of the traffic in the mornings and evenings is directed towards Kingston and Go Ahead do an amazing job balancing the service through consistently heavy traffic in Worcester Park. If lost to RATP this balance could well be more difficult to maintain. But like I said not impossible to conceive a loss to RATP.
