I have mentioned a few times that I noticed the 276 changes drivers at Canning Town (Barking Road) but this seems to be going wrong now. I am noticing more and more buses being left without drivers parked at the stops! On Saturday afternoon there was 3 buses with hazard lights on.
Has this always been the change over point or a recent change?

I believe this is about 3 months or so now, so relatively recent. It also seems to be an SI thing to abandon buses if no driver shows up. This happens very frequently on the 300 at Beckton, far too many times for me to even count.

Couldn't (despite planning to) go to Addington last Saturday to photo SE19 ............. never mind - it's worked the 359 practically everyday since April ........... now I've planned to go this week ........... and it's suddenly not working and SE173 is on it instead .................. JFT !!! Watch SCL 15002 & 15003 suddenly not be in service from tomorrow despite being on the 248 forever (planned Romford visit before work) Sorry rubbish day at work today ............. been victim of some sharp managerial practice manipulating the AL cover line on our roster just to cut the overtime budget but deny people AL ......... 's what happens when one person is in charge of the roster - power truly does corrupt ......... was hoping for some bus photography to lighten my mood but the above had p*ssed me off too. Rant over. Hoping to hunt down DOE37 & SOE4 / 35 for photos this week at last ...............

LSP application for 847 to Here East, with new timetable with electric buses from 1st November LSP variation link Yes for SEe released from the 507 /521 cut are the new allocation for Here East.
Also the 413 is likely to convert to electric buses around December using some SEe's from route 360. The 360 and 444 are converting to to 12 Meter SE's again released from Red Arrow work.
The W15 will use the existing 10.9m buses released from the 360 and 444 with a top up order of 12 New 10.9m electrics that have been ordered.
According to Buses magazine (issue 800, November 2021), SEe 1-29 are the ones remaining at RA for the 507 and 521. SEe 30-35, 37-48, 50 & 51 will be upseated at at Hants & Dorset Trim for Here East, 360 and 444, with SEe 38-40/42 being the vehicles for Here East. The future of SEe 36 and 49 is not known at this stage - these are the two that were involved in the fatal collision at Victoria Bus Station in August. The Wright Streetlites WS 35/36/38 previously used on Here East have been returned off lease.

Thats good to hear. I'm guessing they will head from Hants straight to either Q or NP releasing enough for the 413 with the remainder slowly coming back to either garage and releasing the 10.9m ones to be cleaned up for the W15 next year.

I'd imagine SEe36 & 49 will follow the rest to NP in due course, the damage isn't severe enough for a write off. Something I announced is SEe41 is missing from your post above in terms of what route it be allocated to NP? Is there any details on whether the SEe's for Here East will keep their TfL spec features and essentially pool into the 444's final allocation?

I expect you are right; 38-40 and 42 at NP already for Here East but in due course there will be a common pool with the 444. Also 36 and 49 will eventually follow on, although they may be impounded for some time if police investigations into the fatal collision are ongoing.

Pretty sure Here East is being run from DS or still SI as I spotted a SE running light there a few evenings ago.

There was a post by Hants and Dorset Trim on Facebook this morning which had an interior shot of SEe 20 which confirmed that the 507/521 buses have retained their internal layout.

Sorry but isn't the purpose for short commuter feeder routes to have lots of space for commuters to stand rather than sit? TBH I think the 507/521 work well with this type of layout.

SEe 1-29 are staying on Red Arrow work (routes 507 and 521) so are not going to be upseated.
