Did the 358 not get a confirmed order of Irizar IE Trams? We 358 users are not holding our breath waiting for the promised new equipment. I thought it was expected now the 358 was getting its new buses in Jan 2023.

Does anyone know if 358 was tested with E200EVs? Ive forgotten The route is too long for such vehicles to have enough charge to work it. This is why they are looking at pantograph charging at each end of the route.

According to a post on the Go-Ahead London facebook group from a reliable source, they're expected to be used for the 91 But the 91 doesn't start until January I'm sure that will give them enough time to refurbish and put it on another route until it's scheduled time for the 91. It happens all the time with various operators.

According to a post on the Go-Ahead London facebook group from a reliable source, they're expected to be used for the 91 But the 91 doesn't start until January As others have pointed out, this length of time isn't uncommon. Tower Transit's 16reg VHs would be a good example, with quite a long gap between the 328 loss and recent gain of the 135. Between those routes, they found use being loaned to Stagecoach and later on the 733. Also Arriva's 63reg HVs from the 319 spent time split between various garages before being used on the 335/432.

Surely they could all go on the 200 from today whislt the Optares are off the road. It doesn't really matter as they're still essentially helping to cover the 200. As a route local I'm certainly grateful it still has some sort of service given the situation. Having said that it would be nice to have odd appearances at least.
