IIRC that 'particular' gyratory only came into effect from the late 80s/early 90s with High Street Colliers Wood reverting back to two-way by 2000. Christchurch Road (by the tube station and nearby school) and Priory Road then became two-way for the first time, Priory Road done so after widening from two lanes to four lanes. I totally agree about the new road layout at Stockwell as it also means that buses are now included in the banned right turn from Clapham Road into Binfield Road (for SW Garage). Would Christchurch Road have gone two way around the time they removed the frankly dangerous roundabout by The Tandem Centre? That would have been in the early 2000s. Yes, still after the High Street Colliers Wood's switch back to two-way

Apologies as this has probably been discussed before elsewhere. In short I recently travelled on the 346 on SE234 based River Road - is the 346 the route with the longest dead-run? (circa 12.5 miles River Road to Upminster) - thanks That honour would probably be the X26 which has dead runs to Heathrow from Croydon. As the crow flies it’s around 22 miles but if it runs via the M25, that’s a distance of 44 miles

The EHV's moving into AL are there covering for Me's but not for the myth speculated on here (unreliability). The Me's are currently being sent for retrofits and similar will be done to Metroline & RATP OME's -I believe it's connected to the fire at PB

If we were talking about the dead run from a route’s closest (or only) terminus, the 346 is probably a contender but I think the 66 wins.

The majority of buses run light to West Croydon.

If you were talking about the closest point of a faraway route from a garage then it would be the 549. The closest point on the route from SM would be Loughton at 16 miles but there are no dead runs on the route to Loughton from SM and the dead runs are to South Woodford which are 20 miles

Metroline and RATP already have at least one example away alongside Go Ahead's, said to be there for welding modifications to the fleet in relation to better battery support.

119 and 264s E400EVs should start entering service by December. Sorry but is it known whether these buses feature the high spec or the original spec.

They will probably wait to convert another route until the decision about the C3 is made.

One question though is blind material. Given the new SEs for the 184 had digital blinds I’d expect these to as well. I think the last new vehicles with blinds may well have been the 132s EPs.

The 184s buses had roller blinds, the W15s partial allocation had LED blinds.
