For C garage. Interested to see if there's any photos of it yet Photo of Ee70Zooming into the registration plate, it's hard to tell whether it's LG72DNO or DNU.

Seen a video of Ee70, made to the higher spec, high resolution digital displays, eats are Civic 3's with leather headrests (same as some of commercial fleet), enhanced iBus, skylight, USB chargers and stop bells on every seat (however no phone holder). Interesting to note that all hand rails were white not yellow and flooring was grey wood (vinyl probably), potentially a new interior colour for Go Ahead?

Do you know if the EN's/WVN's interior and seats are Goahead London or are they ex First/Tower Transit and Abellio London.

I did notice the handrails were white from the picture which is very interesting. Also noticed the sub brands are no more which is a shame.

Just a quick thought, With the electric demonstrator EL1 at C, stuck to the 119, wouldn't it make sense for the order to be of electroliners since the demonstrator has been at C since april, with all drivers mostly driven the vehicle at some point, or it would have made sense to send the BYD City ev demonstrator to C for type training or put it to service.

Once the BYDs are in service C could ideally evaluate them alongside EL1 on the 119 and/or the 264.

Will all new buses in London have to have LED blinds?

The order was made before the demonstrator arrived - they'd of had to have had ample time with the demonstrator to know whether they would bother with a future order of it by which time I'd imagine it would of been too late to alter the existing BYD ADL order

Will all new buses in London have to have LED blinds? It depends on the operator. It seems to be the default as traditional blinds are less versatile, inserts needed to add routes etc... It will be interesting to see if Arriva get LED blinds on the new electrics for the 307. The LED blinds on the newer SEe on the 184 / W15 look good, no issue in bright sunlight.

That’s what I’m thinking aswell and I would have thought the demonstrator would be best allocates to the 111 for type training etc etc.

They know how the BYD operates already - the whole point of bringing in the Electroliner demonstrator is to evaluate how it operates The Electroliner demonstrator might stay once the new buses arrive and be evaluated alongside the new BYD’s before they make a decision whether to make future orders of Electroliners or not.

Has any of the S1 OM’s strayed onto any route like the 355/455 etc?
