Folks I'm trying to figure out from years ago why the 76 was diverted to run through Englefield Road. I know it used to go to Stamford Road first and then into Englefield Road but I forgot the reason why they diverted it. Does anyone know? At first the right turn from Kingsland Road into Stamford Road was banned (and a central reservation built on Kingsland Road to prevent illegal turns). So southbound buses had to be diverted away from Stamford Road. Northbound buses continued to use Stamford Road for a while, before being rerouted via Englefield Road to match the southbound route.
More recently the top end of Stamford Road has been completely closed to vehicles.

Ahhhh I thought as much. Thank you for that.

It's not TfL branding, it's SMMT branding for the automotive industry event at which the bus was pictured attending. So it won't be applied to real world use! I did wonder. I would like electric buses to have bolder branding - although I do agree with the point above about obscuring windows.

WVL485 has finally entered service on the SL7. Wonder if it has had a luggage rack fitted?

WVL485 has finally entered service on the SL7. Wonder if it has had a luggage rack fitted? It has the superloop livery, unsure about the luggage rack or if it's single door. Seems like WVL495 may have been sent the other way as it was last in service the day before WVL485 arrived back at C, so looking likely it has had modification. Edit: It does indeed have luggage racks and USB ports, it has retained dual doors as the luggage racks have been placed in the rear area.

Not all, some are deckers Why is the 355 moving to Q (sorry if I have missed out the reason) & are DDs also officially allocated? To make space for the 450. DDs are still a temporary allocation as part of the WS allocation moved to MB. I wouldn’t expect them to return before the new contract starts if retained by Go Ahead. There is a small hope that a full DD allocation is awarded but I think it’s unlikely and new SD EVs are awarded instead. Edit: Having said the above if the 188 was to convert to EV that would free up some hybrids for the 355. Could potentially win the 45 as well if a few more could be found.

MG is being electrified for the 108 so would be possible for the 188 to go EV too. Saying that I have not seen any news regarding the 108s conversion lately. So much up for tender as always, I struggle to keep up to date.
