MHV80 spotted today on the 333. Fresh out of refurb as nice and shiny and the new logos. Also SW badged. The refurb WHVs and MHVs look nice but I don’t like how bare the front looks without the logo and how the logo looks so soulless, and I’ve already seen a WHV vandalised with graffiti already

Had SE240 for the first time on the 434 this afternoon. I’d forgotten SW had gotten rid of the ZF gearboxes in all their 15 plate SE’s and retrofitted Allison’s in them, but it was telling as it felt so much better than the average Euro VI E200!

Pretty sure GAL will have arrangements with ADL to defer the 333 batch, it’s likely gonna be at least a year (maybe two) before it can run them if that long term I wonder if they shift buses around to release the intended buses for the 89? They will have hybrids becoming spare over the next year that could go on the 333 until it converts to electric.

I don't think it's surprising - we know SW will take a while to be done whilst the 262's garage is already wired up to the grid so further conversions will be quicker and thus makes more sense to get these into service. Presumably, when a gap comes up between batches, the 333's Ee's may then get delivered and used elsewhere until SW is ready. What this means for me is I now need to hurry up and get over to ride the 262 (and 473 too) with WVN's

Do you think it would make sense to give the 89 the 5 or 172's EH's or the 188 WHV's can go on the 89 instead of the MHV'S if the 333 can't have electric buses until next year as the MHV's have been refurbished and have SW Codes on them.

The wheelchair ramp could have possibly still been working as he mentioned the driver used Emergency door button to open the rear doors. I think this is the point SouthLondoner468 was trying to make if you actually read it properly.
