any further news on Garth road? Still not approved and no work has started on site. The Go Ahead posters from the open resident meetings are still in the windows. At this rate I don’t expect it to be fully operational until early 2026 given the huge complexities building on the site.

There was a BD11 at New Cross Gate Station, I am unsure if it is still there but here is a picture of it. I believe this could be a demonstrator vehicle given the fact it doesn't look like it has the Go Ahead London interior, but either way it could be introduced later on to the 321 and later ordered. I very much like the look of this vehicle. I like the fully bonded glass windows, not a fan of gaskets. I like the headlights, here they look aesthetic and modern. I also like the clever use of black against the red. I’m not sure if it will look as good without windows on the staircase but that’s an issue to decide after I’ve seen the full production model. Overall I like it, certainly more than I like the now tired looking Wright offering.

Where are the WVNs going after withdrawal? Scrap pile I seem to remember similar comments about the DOEs - and look how many of them have had a further lease of life (including some refurbs).

It does have a Plaxton President look to it, like a grandchild of the president. Hopefully there are further revisions.

I must say the blind displays look very sharp on the the new Ee's for the 262. As far as I am aware nothing has changed in terms of the LEDs on recent new bus deliveries? I think the buses look great and seem so new compared to the route 69 examples that are only 3 years old.
The only display I don't like in my local area is the huge Beckton with a tiny bus station qualifier on the 376.

Judging by many pictures where the LED blind has failed to render properly I'd assume it's because they're Hanovers as opposed to the Mobitecs that have ended up on the 276 buses which are running around with failures everywhere. Has GAL ever used Mobitec LEDs or have they usually just stuck with Hanovers?

UNO now cannibalising their BYD electrics after such a short life should serve as a warning to anyone tempted in. They look cheap and no doubt are.
