344 or 345? 85 I reckon should be 88 and 344 should be 345 so all in all, he saw the PDL's Erm, Im not sure what routes, but those numbers sound about right. I think they were in store to be disposed (Old Pointers) or or refurbished (presidents).

They're definately on their way out....sadly!

I may go back there and take pics, i didnt think think it was work taking pics at the time, as you couldnt really fit my camera those the gaps in fence.
Im guessing it is a yard of buses to be disposed of, especially the old type pointers, and the PDLs which you confirmed LG/LC are getting rid of. Some/most of them were de-branded (logo wise) and had no blinds in.

As a regular user of the DOEs and SOEs I think they are really great buses. The SOEs are a bit cramped at the back as with all Dart chassis buses, but the DOEs are lovely and if you shut the windows and sit on the offside the air cooling system is VERY effective and really helps to cool you down. The buses are comfortable, sound good (although I usually have iPod on anyway) and I think are very good looking. My friends who aren't into buses also like the new buses too lol

I've got one problem with the DOE or it could just be DOE17 but I was on it not long after entering service and noticed that the panelling where the emergency exit door is wasn't done properly as the plastic bit doesn't meet with the bottom bit.
