Well, it appears that Proboards have now pulled the plug on Farooqi's spare forum. This is the one he has been urging everyone to join since his original site was closed down last week. He and his friends STILL have access to one MORE proboards site, the 'Jolly Bus Enthusiasts Forum' (I kid you not! ;D), run by his old mate Ogalucia51 (a.k.a carlovel1) who was slung off this forum some months ago. I am confident that it will not be long before Carlovel1 'blots his copybook' with Proboards, but in the meantime be alert for attempts by them to sign up under fake user names, and please assist Admin on this and other transport forums by reporting any PM or e-mail communication you receive from them, ESPECIALLY if it is abusive or obscene.  Edit: the 'new' forum is owned by RNAM, also banned from this parish, so they are still collectively 'at it'! |

Just wanted to say, I don't ever post on here in any other capacity other than a "normal" member.
But wanted to add to this post that personally I've very keen to help and share information to keep these offenders out of our community.

Thank you for the heads up Bighat Mods/Admin I would suggest you think about stopping all this 1 sided battle as its starting to look like harassment! Proboards could take action agaist you guys if the other partys report this site. Why don't everybody just drop it and let the other sites die of a slow death! |

Proboards could take action agaist you guys if the other partys report this site. Why don't everybody just drop it and let the other sites die of a slow death! Set against the harassment, abuse, threats and perverted remarks suffered by members of this, and other, forums that we have listed against this crowd, I think it would be deemed 'no contest'. Your concern about how Proboards MIGHT react is noted, as is your wish to 'take the heat' off them. Unfortunately, they are past the point of no return, so they are now 'open season' for every man and his dog if they show their faces again, here or elsewhere, on ANY Proboards managed transport forum. A VERY curious point of view that YOU have too! |

I just feel the site needs to think about the 400 +
members that are here to read about buses not this!
Its not a great advert to new members!
I suggest tighnening up on things!

I just feel the site needs to think about the 400 + members that are here to read about buses not this! Its not a great advert to new members! I suggest tighnening up on things! I'll BET you do! Because this IS a democracy here, and they take advantage of it. One has to be sure that the person IS whom you suspect he is before you just rush in a delete his posts because you THINK they are childish, lies, stupid or whatever. It takes some time (about 30 posts or so) before you can establish from the style and presentation, if the person IS whom you suspect. How many posts have YOU made now BTW? ;D |

He actually sent e-mails to ALL those signed up on that forum, as well as a lot of others who weren't, or were added there illegally, YES ILLEGALLY. So far, you must be the ONLY member of this forum to take up his offer, yesterday at 8.57 pm! Nobody likes to lose face, especially so publicly!  |

I'm afraid IMHO the words 'facts' and 'Farooqi' do not sit well together in the same sentence. As for your advice to him on the naming of this new forum, your rationale escapes me! It would, however, probably impress some of his membership! However, he chose to ignore it, since the forum was registered before he contacted you. Tom often askes for help or advice then totally ignores it! It's in his nature. |
