Presumably the first indication of timing of Irizar’s on the 358 will be when work starts at Station Approach Orpington on the installation of the pantograph equipment. So nothing imminent then.

The original estimate was "January 2022" although that could slip, depending on installation of the charges and/or the delivery of the actual vehicles. The route can continue with existing vehicles for as long as it needs to.

Oh not again 😡 There’s Supposed to be a 395 at 22:50 please don’t tell me I wait until 23:20 for the next bus. This is bloody ridiculous. After a hard days work I can’t be bothered to walk. Cobo, if this is keep happening everytime at same time as you waiting for bus 395. My advice is email to TfL to complain about bus 395 not turn up at 22.50. so TfL can look into why Metroline failed to provide the service to run for bus 395 at 22.50 as you was waiting for it. I mean, Metroline wouldn't be contacted as the route is now operated by Sovereign

Yesterday 28s and 220s were not serving Mapleton Road or Southside stops northbound due to roadworks, yet 220s were still on the countdown screens, 28s were not. I was there for about 15 minutes and three 220s were due but passed, and there were a lot of people waiting.
I searched on my phone and realised the 220s were only starting from Frogmore so myself and a lot of others went there on a 270, and there were a lot of 220s lined up on Ram Street + 1 on Wandsworth High St. I think they should have made it more clear with signage, especially because it still said that 28s/220s were diverted with the 44/270 when they aren't anymore, and not having the 220s displayed on the countdown.
Also noticed that it was awkward for 270s to stop on Ram Street southbound, they'd have to block the road because there would be 220s blocking the bus stop

Lots of people on transport in party mood for Halloween already. Think tonight will be almost like New Year's Eve. Think it will be a busy one!
Passengers on my train mixing drink into soft drink bottles.

Too many idiots trying too hard to have a good time.

It’s really the only thing I miss about retail work.

Am I the only one here who loathes Urban90 seats on buses? I really miss them on the H22 Darts. I absolutely hated the seats, but I don't think they were on the H22s buses? They might've been on the H20 if that's what you meant and they were certainly on the 235 on it's Caetenos. Personally I found them awful and am absolutely glad the breed is dying off.

Yes they were on the DPS that were on the H22. Urban 90 seats were/are commonly found on Darts though some other types sadly got inflicted by them such as the 55 reg VLA’s and W reg DLA’s specifically at TC except for one or two notable examples like DLA180 which received Esteban seats instead. Some Euro IV Enviro 200’s got them outside London but that was quite rare and they eventually weren’t seen on new buses. One of the worst seats I’ve used on a bus, only marginally beating the vandal proof full plastic seats because Urban 90’s actually had some padding
