At last, very disrespectful man to many of his colleagues.

And riding a bus is not contributing to it either, hmm rose tinted glasses. The only way you would have zero pollution is to walk, bare foot, that way you would not be wearing shoes what may contribute to pollution whilst being created in a factory. TBF, buses have been emitting less pollution since the early 00’s when London General & Central were using greener fuels - I remember the excellent PDL’s having notices inside about this. True, but these were biofuels IIRC, which are also available for cars. Over the years it has come under heavy criticism from enviromentalists due to land being cleared to plant crops to do this. There is also the used vegetable oil option, however using this you must pay tax on it.

If that's not an indication of more bad, bad news on Crossrail to come between now and May.... I believe Mike Brown has found a new challenge in heading up the massive building repairs to Parliament. Probably had enough of TfL, and with a new Mayor coming in (or existing one re-elected) he took the opportunity on offer and ran! Doesn't mean there will lots of Crossrail bad news to come, but in truth I think more Crossrail bad news is likely anyway.

It's not really an ADL solution, think its more of a Go-North East initiative. It works rather effectively though

Mind you, if you had to work at some stage with Jacob Rees-Mogg it's probably not enough lucre.

Even if the folding seat was lucky enough to stay in tact, then I bet people wouldn't bother folding it up for a footrest, and would just put their feet on the seat folded down.

I know I have asked this before but never get my head around night buses when clocks go back / forward!
Will night buses run for the extra hour tonight? how is the extra hour covered on the duties?

There is normally a special one-off schedule compiled to take into account the extra hour and the duties are covered accordingly

Why do non-powerblinds look so horrible? The ones at DT on the DWs aren't even two years old yet they look so dirty and mangled.
Also, why aren't new ones made in the new style (Qualifier underneath and in capitals)?

I think its that the manual ones crumple more easily (causing wrinkles) but if they are new, they should be new style. Potentially they were just recycled from another bus
