The initial pictures I’ve seen of DW512’s model are inaccurate to say the least. The model is based on a Volvo rather than a DB300, it also has yellow handlebars instead of white and I’ve also noticed it carries AD codes! Hopefully Corgi can fix this before the model is released, however there’s a question mark over whether this will actually be released or not. Who remembers that they tried to release a model of DW285 a few years back? That was cancelled and I believe this was due to the fact this was on a VDL chassis rather than a Volvo B9 which is what these models are based on.

I remember that about DW285 what happened with that? If you read my post carefully you will find out what (I think) happened... I also think licensing played a part in its cancellation if corgi only had license to produce the B9TL bodies Gemini 2 and not the VDL DB300. I may be very much mistaken here though.

Appears to have the same inaccuracies. www.ttcdiecast.com/corgi-om46518a-wright-eclipse-gemini-2-arriva-london-rte-466-caterham-army-jobs-151786-p.asp
