Do you mean physically as this was reported towards the end of last year only just noticed. Sorry about that This is not the first time HEA 1 has been renumbered. When I was at CT Plus, on paper it was 2500. The group was occasionally lax about this kind of thing.

I would like to add a bit about HEA1, as I knew it. The bus was actually new to University College London, for the Accessibility Research Group, and not partly owned by HCT. Various threads have the odd mention of it. For instance, in June 2016 it was spotted heading towards Archway - this was en route to the UCL PAMELA facility on Station Road, Tufnell Park. This laboratory is next to the railway line, and within sight of HT across said line. The first main use of the bus was www.researchgate.net/publication/281097494_Gait_and_balance_of_moving_bus_passengers . I leave you to read this for yourselves, but be warned - it gets very boring towards the end! Towards the middle as well! Among other things, it was also used as an art installation in 2015, parked inside the laboratory yard (difficult to get into, and a right b****** to get out of. One artist, Max Colson (lovely chap, but not really a bus enthusiast (witness refs to Stagecoach and GAL) created this vimeo.com/144571800 . This gets better as it goes on IMHO.

Wonderful! A 10.0m E400 with a lift, vending machine and 70 seats downstairs and business class seats/First Class suites designed for aircraft upstairs!
I saw this bus at HK when I drove rail replacement at HCT the other week and sadly the reality wasn't quite the same 😂
A great bit of artwork though!

Have to say I’m impressed with this firm, having been using the D6 and 388 quite a bit recently. Helps that the D6 is mostly d/d , it should stay that way if it all possible during the social distancing measures, as it gets very busy.

Oops if it has been reported elsewhere, DAS 2 is now carrying it's new number 1301.

It's been announced on another thread that HCT Group was won the contract for school route 616, from Go-Ahead London, to commence on 6th February 2021.
Two new electric d/d (type yet to be determined) will be ordered against the contract, but these will be allocated to route 20 with existing hybrids operating the 616.

I do wonder if they will end up on the 26 and 388. I would have thought central London routes would be more suitable. Speculation alert but if allocated to HK they could bid to retain the 26 or 388 using electric deckers in the future.
