So does 2601 belong to HCT Group and is on loan to Metroline or is it a demonstrator? Its a demonstrator that is currently owned by ADL. Sorry to ask a silly question but does AW now have a charging facility? Not sure, but they might have a portable charger that AW can use if they need to do so.

At Waterloo walking back to my bus and walking past 2525 on the stand and noticed writing on the nearside mirror on closer inspection someone had written CT Plus then put a line through the plus then wrote minus underneath.

Alright guys, which avid bus enthusiast did this? 😂 Reminds me of when someone inscribed “Low emission, green bus” in the dirt accumulated on the side of a W-PAE registered B7TL (from 2000) in Bath. (32014 is the First bus in question). Very likely someone at the depot, I doubt a Uni Student went to those lengths 😂

Some of the TLs on the route had the "r" and "a" removed from their rear fleet names

I remember someone had spelled out “CLEAN ME” on the windows as well as the side body!

I see 1338 is now back from the refurbs and is on the W19. Any idea when it came back from the refurbs?

So earlier this week. I still remembered when the W19 was a small quiet bus and it's predecessor the 551 used to run all the way to Basildon and now the bus is a popular route.

Any news yet on the 2 new electrics that'll be ordered for route 20? I've just had a look on Google maps through the entire route and at the Loughton/Debden end, there are some quite narrow roads and tight turns, however I can see HCT Group going for the Optare Metrodecker instead of the Enviro 400EV as I believe the Enviro 400EVs may just be too long to turn onto the narrow roads in the Loughton/Debden area but let's wait and see.

There was suggestions they had purchased the E400EV demo when it last featured on the 20, but then it headed off to Metroline. I read elsewhere that OME2652 is not available for purchase as is only loaned back to Optare? Is the original Optare Metrodecker demo still available?

The E400EV was trialled on route 20 (in service) so presumably can get around the route
